00:00What have we heard from the Indian government and what have we heard from Hasina herself at this stage?
00:08Yes, so Hasina has put out a statement right after the ruling.
00:12She said this ruling is basically politically motivated and biased.
00:19She has not acknowledged the authority of this court.
00:24She says that this is the court set up by a government which is not democratically elected.
00:30And she has basically denounced this.
00:33She has also said that she is willing to convey all her points in terms of what all the accusers are saying against her.
00:44And that she's also even willing to go to The Hague.
00:47As we know that she remains in exile in New Delhi in India.
00:52New Delhi has also put out a statement following the tribunal's ruling.
00:56India has said that it has noted this ruling by the International Crimes Tribunal and it remains committed to peace and stability in the neighboring country.
01:08However, it has not expanded on whether India plans to send her back to her own country, which is the demand from the Bangladeshi government.
01:17Right after the ruling, the Bangladeshi foreign ministry set out a statement asking for her to be extradited back to Dhaka, where she can basically face the full force of law and justice.
01:29But there is no details from New Delhi at this point.
