India’s and Pakistan’s blind women’s cricket teams shook hands after their match at the Women’s T20 World Cup for the Blind in Colombo.
India secured their fifth straight win securing their semi-final qualification, beating Pakistan by eight wickets in the World Cup.
Both teams lined up for handshakes, travelled together to the venue, and exchanged compliments post-match.
After the Pahalgam attack and rising tensions between India and Pakistan, India’s men’s cricket team refused to shake hands with their Pakistani opponents at the Asia Cup in September.
