Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin held talks with Mongolian Prime Minister Gombojavyn Zandanshatar in Moscow ahead of the SCO summit, praising him for speaking Russian “perfectly”!
The leaders discussed strengthening their strategic partnership across trade, energy, transport, education, and culture. They highlighted decades of friendship between Russia and Mongolia, including shared historical memory and thousands of Mongolian students studying in Russia.
Mishustin also emphasized the importance of expanding Russian language teaching in Mongolia, joint research, and humanitarian cooperation, while Zandanshatar reaffirmed Mongolia’s commitment to implementing high-level agreements and deepening ties in key sectors.
