The United Nations Security Council has approved a U.S.-backed ceasefire plan for Gaza,
00:05
which includes the deployment of an international stabilization force to help oversee conditions on the ground.
00:12
The proposal aims to halt months of fighting and begin a structured path toward reconstruction.
00:18
However, Hamas has firmly rejected the idea of foreign military personnel entering Gaza,
00:24
saying the plan would replace Israeli occupation with what it calls foreign guardianship.
00:29
The group insists that any agreement must preserve Palestinian autonomy.
00:34
Meanwhile, tension remains high inside the Strip.
00:38
Israeli drone fire has reportedly wounded at least 13 Palestinians, including a child,
00:44
at a school serving as a shelter in the Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City.
00:48
Local health teams say the injured were rushed for treatment as overcrowded facilities struggled to cope.
