00:00Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are preparing for one of the Gulf's biggest infrastructure projects yet,
00:05the King Hamad Causeway. In a previous video, we explored the King Fahd Causeway that links the
00:10two nations. The King Fahd Causeway is a 25-kilometer bridge that transformed travel
00:16and trade between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Now a much larger project is moving closer to reality.
00:23The reason is simple. Traffic demand has exploded in recent years. More than 8.2 million vehicles
00:30cross the existing causeway in a single year, placing massive pressure on the route every day.
00:35The new King Hamad Causeway is expected to include both road traffic and a railway system.
00:41This will help improve transportation, logistics, tourism, and regional trade across the Gulf.
