00:00I've been taking anabolic steroids illegally for five years now and these things have really
00:09really messed with my life. I first started taking them during lockdown because I looked
00:15in the mirror and as somebody who's got body dysmorphia and bulimia I looked in the mirror
00:20and I absolutely, I hated what I saw and I tried working out, I tried dieting, I was really
00:30really strict with myself and my diet but nothing changed, like I couldn't gain muscle, I had
00:36layers of fat that I wasn't happy with and looking back there was nothing wrong with me,
00:40I had a normal body and most importantly I had, I had the love and support of people
00:48who loved me for who I was, not for what I looked like. But I continued with my steadfast
00:57decision to take steroids and take testosterone and it led to some aesthetically very good
01:03results. I was getting noticed more for television when I got the job for Strictly because I was
01:10so muscular, my code name that they had for me was Hercules and the more that people acknowledged
01:16how I looked on steroids, the more I felt good about myself, I felt valid. But the reality
01:24is that steroids have shrunk my bollocks, I've got tiny balls now, there's your headline, I've
01:31got tiny balls, I've got an irregulated sex drive, sometimes it's very very high and I end
01:39up doing stupid things that don't respect my body and sometimes it's very very low.
01:46there's no one there. So that's it. I've got a drink and it can't do much more. There's
01:56no worries about anything, it's very low. You know, it's a little bit more, it's very
01:59good. So, I was I thought I wanted to get down and explain the
