00:01Welcome back to AccuWeather Ahead.
00:03Thursday, November 27th is exactly 10 days away, and you know what that means.
00:08Thanksgiving is exactly 10 days away.
00:10So here at AccuWeather we're going to give you an updated look at the forecast as far as any travel plans may be concerned.
00:16So if you're traveling by air or by road, definitely pay attention to the forecast here as we go forward.
00:22Now unfortunately it does look like we will be tracking one of those coast-to-coast storm systems
00:26that will have some impacts on any travel plans here as we head throughout the early parts, especially of next week.
00:33So this is what we're going to be tracking overall.
00:35You can see if you're getting an early jump start on your Thanksgiving travel plans on Tuesday, that's the 25th.
00:41Now unfortunately here across parts of the Mississippi and the Mid-South,
00:44we will be watching out for some poor driving and air travel conditions here for this region.
00:50But overall here across the Rockies and the Southwest, everything's looking good.
00:54And also on Tuesday, pretty much the entire East Coast is looking pretty nice as well.
00:59So if you have any Thanksgiving travel plans, especially across the East Coast, for both Tuesday and Wednesday,
01:05overall they are looking pretty good.
01:07Now the best news of all, Wednesday, which is one of the busiest travel days of the year, no red.
01:12No red on the map.
01:13So that's the good news.
01:14But we will be watching out for some rain chances here across the Southeast and the Mississippi, the Midwest, those areas.
01:19And also the Rockies, we could see some rain chances in the forecast that could slow some things down.
01:24So heads up for that.
01:25And then your overall Thanksgiving forecast, unfortunately, it looks like we'll see some rain chances from the East Coast and into the Southeast.
01:32That's going to slow some things down and that's going to keep everything indoors there from New York, Washington, Baltimore,
01:38all the way down through the Southeast.
01:39Now there's also going to be a big dip in the jet stream there across the Northern Plains.
01:43That's going to cool things off and that cooler air will stick around even as we head into Black Friday.
