00:01They sit in first place on top of the Atlantic Division

00:03after that game on Saturday night.

00:06They've still played more games than everybody in the division,

00:08but regardless, even if those teams,

00:10they're going to play each other,

00:11so they're not all going to win every one of their makeup games

00:13there to catch the Bruins.

00:14So the fact that they're where they're at right now

00:18after the first whatever it was,

00:20seven games of the season where you're like,

00:21oh my God, hand in the air, I was like,

00:24all right, it might be time to look for Gavin McKenna.

00:26It might be time to talk Tank

00:28because they just, it wasn't for a lack of effort.

00:31They just weren't getting the results.

00:32Like they just were struggling big time.

00:35The goaltenders weren't good.

00:36The defense was letting them down.

00:37It was pretty much just Pasternak scoring.

00:39Well, things have changed,

00:40and it seems like some of the buttons

00:42that Marco Sturm has pushed have worked.

00:45They've gone back to Loi.

00:46Loi has been out this whole time,

00:48but like sending a message to him,

00:49sitting him out for a little bit,

00:51then putting him back in there,

00:52skipping Swayman,

00:53what we felt like was a scheduled start for him.

00:55He's like, nope, we're going to go to Corpus Allo.

00:57He was good last game.

00:58We're going to keep him going.

00:59But those guys, to their credit,

01:01also have responded to that.

01:02They didn't just go into a shell and like disappear.

01:05We thought there was a chance with Swayman that could happen.

01:08You're like, oh boy,

01:09you got to be really careful with this guy

01:10because he could just turn into a puddle.

01:12But both Loi and Swayman have responded.

01:16You're getting a top, you know,

01:17you're getting a great season out of Pasternak,

01:20as I don't think anybody is too surprised by.

01:23And yeah, this,

01:24this Easter conference,

01:26I mean,

01:26you see them sitting up there,

01:27or at least in the division anyway,

01:28top of the division.

01:30Look at the gold differential in the division,

01:31by the way.

01:32It's all mine.

01:35but the Sabres are the worst.

01:37Everybody else is basically the same.

01:39And so still a lot to be determined.

01:44two points on the Canadians and the Senators.

01:47Teams like Toronto,

01:48Florida,

01:48Tampa,

01:49just kind of like lingering there below you.
