00:00Former Representative Zaldi Kho recently uploaded a video statement on his social media account.
00:06According to the Independent Commission for Infrastructure, Kho's statements were not submitted and verified under oath.
00:13Would the ICI be able to look into these as evidence? As our Floyd Brenz takes us into the details.
00:20A video posted by former Congressman Zaldi Kho on his social media account.
00:25The video he recently posted have created significant public buzz.
00:29But according to ICI, all of Kho's statement will be meaningless if he does not present them through legal procedures.
00:36Those are not verified, they are not submitted, they are not verified under oath.
00:41Wala naman siyang affidavit na sinadmit together with those documents.
00:46So as far as we're concerned, we cannot look into those.
00:52Kasi nga, hindi nga siya verified, we just have to take it at that.
01:00Not verified, so they cannot be used as evidence.
01:03According to the ICI, they are ensuring the evidence they present to the court is strong and irrefutable.
01:09As for questions on whether the ICI will take action after Kho mentioned the President's name as allegedly involved in the flood control anomaly, the ICI said,
01:18Wala pang pinag-iisipan na ganyan ang komisyon.
01:21They also did not comment on Kho's claim of existing threats to his life which prevent him from returning to the country.
01:27Well, that's the limitation. We've been trying to invite him, definitely, because wala siya dito sa bansa, hindi siya makatid.
01:34Meanwhile, the ICI is still confirming Kho's response to the subpoena they sent,
01:39but according to ICI Executive Brian Osaka, the former congressman reportedly rejected it.
01:45The ICI maintained they are bound by their mandate from the public to be transparent in their investigation.
