The Kremlin said on Monday that Russia can swiftly restore export operations at the Novorossiysk port following a recent Ukrainian attack. Oil loadings at the major Black Sea terminal resumed on Sunday after a two-day suspension, according to industry sources and LSEG data. In Moscow’s broader response to rising geopolitical pressure, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denounced a possible U.S. Republican-backed bill that would sanction any country conducting business with Russia. Former U.S. President Donald Trump said the legislation may also target Iran. Peskov added that the Kremlin hopes another summit between President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump could take place once preparations are completed.
