Wow, how he seemed to enjoy his first experience with the DT encounter of a mouse coming out of that wall, until the bat appeared and killed the little creature! However, this is a sad, dark and dismal movie, shot in black and white in that old NYC setting with the 3rd Avenue El running along the streets, but with the reality of a talented Man caught between his next bottle of booze and the Woman who loved him regardless of his weakness. Why, Natch, great show for Ray Miland and Jane Wyman!
