00:15I thought this was probably their most complete game as a whole.

00:20Landry Schammett, Carl Anthony Towns, they all balled.

00:30Yeah, I mean, that was a shocker.

00:31It was, you don't have Jalen Brunson.

00:33OG Ananobi goes out in the first quarter with a hamstring strain.

00:36And then you got guys like Landry Schammett, like Jordan Clarkson taking over.

00:41I thought it was a great game by the bench.

00:43Josh Hart got another triple-double.

00:45So they got contributions all over the place.

00:48This was a Miami Heat team that beat them not too long ago in Miami.

00:52So a solid win.

00:54And they did it without two of their best players.

00:56So before we go to the bench, should we talk about the performances of Clarkson and Schammett?

01:02Carl Anthony Towns, 31 points in the first half.

01:05He ended with, what, 35.

01:07He was on fire tonight.

01:09What did you see from Cat?

01:10Yeah, like you said, he was taking over in the first half because he needed to.

01:14They don't have Jalen Brunson.

01:15OG went out.

01:16So he did what he needed to do.

01:18I thought the defense shifted a little bit, Miami's defense.

01:20And that's when Landry Schammett took over with 30 points in the second half.

01:23So you got a 30-point first half, 31-point first half for Cat in the first half.

01:28And then you got 30 points from Landry Schammett in the second half.

01:32You know, like we said in the beginning of this, it was a balanced attack.

01:36The talk of the offseason was all about the rotation, the depth.

01:41Clarkson, Schammett, other guys stepped up.

01:44Is that something that should be expected from here on out from this Mike Brown coach team?

01:51Expected is a strong word, but, I mean.

01:54But why?

01:56I think we still have to see it a little bit more.

01:58I mean, just one game is not going to tell me, all right, this is going to happen every night.

02:02But it's obviously encouraging that it did happen tonight on a night when they needed him,

02:11So, you know, we'll see the adjustments made by Eric Spolstra.

02:18This is almost like a, you know, a mini playoff battle right now when you play a team in a

02:25The Knicks did it against Chicago earlier in the season and split those games.

02:29So, you know, I'll be interested to see what happens in Miami.

02:34Something out there that we maybe didn't keep an eye on that you saw that was like, okay,

02:41that's worth talking about right now.

02:43Offensive rebounds for the Knicks.

02:44I mean, you know, Mitchell Robinson had a bunch.

02:47I don't have the stat sheet in front of me.

02:48But, you know, these extra possessions that the Knicks get through their offensive rebounding,

02:53it's a big reason why they win these games.

02:54Because they're able to get more field goal attempts.

02:57They have more possessions than the other team.

02:59And it's really a numbers game.

03:00It's a math game when you have that.

03:02And the Knicks have that weapon.

03:04They have it in Mitchell Robinson and other guys were able to do that.

03:06I thought Miami was just dominated on the glass.

03:10So the Knicks really controlled the boards.

03:11And I think that was important.

03:13They close out this seven-game home streak on a Friday night in New York City.

03:18The crowd was absolutely jumping.

03:20We hear MVP chance for Landry Schammett.

03:31Well, I say I did not come here thinking that I was going to hear Landry Schammett chants.

03:37But we got Landry Schammett chants at the Garden.

03:40That's got to be a highlight for him, man.

03:43So this was a big night for Landry Schammett.

03:45Remember, this is a guy last season, I mean, he really tore up his whole shoulder.

03:50I mean, his whole shoulder was dislocated.

03:52He said, you know what?

03:52I'm not going to get the surgery.

03:54I'm going to rehab.

03:55I'm going to come back.

03:56He did.

03:56He's a total pro.

03:58And this is his biggest reward that he's had so far.
