USC Trojans Cornerback DeCarlos Nicholson, Coach Lincoln Riley, and Quarterback Jayden Maiava discusses their preparation for games during the week. Maiava talks about how the coaches do a good job to prepare them correctly for games.

00:00You're kind of adding your head to hold on to that, so what is your chemistry for you right now?

00:04Yeah, it's huge. I mean, I think the biggest thing is just how much of a team player he is

00:09and how much everybody, I mean, you know, he just wants to see everybody win on his team.

00:13And so that's, you know, you've got to appreciate guys like that. He's a warrior.

00:17Jayden, you've been going against really good teams that are good at defending the past.

00:20I think the last five opponents that you guys were facing all were in the top 45.

00:24They're passing yards allowed, and today you just threw for the most yards.

00:28It's like our question, giving up, going against these tough teams

00:31and not know how to defend their past, like how are you able to just dissect them

00:33and just, you know, be able to make them.

00:37Coach Lincoln Riley, for sure.

00:38I think we've got the guys to do it as well, the online to do it.

00:42You know, everybody offensively just, you know, we're excited to play for each other.

00:49On a similar note, Jayden, what was different for you?

00:51It seemed like you were sharper than you had.

00:53Yeah, I mean, just the preparation and the practice that we put in.

00:58And, you know, coaching staff should do such a great job, you know,

01:01setting us out there, being ready for the test.
