00:00In Palestine, the Israeli genocide against Gaza have left over 6,000 amputees, nearly 2,000 of them children.

00:09The Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed on Friday that since 2023 they have carried out over 6,000 amputations,

00:1625% of which were pediatric patients and 12.1% were women.

00:21The physical and emotional suffering from these medical procedures is exacerbated in Gaza

00:27because many surgeries were performed without anesthesia due to the blockade imposed by Israel on humanitarian aid.

00:35In addition, patients do not receive follow-up therapeutic care.

00:38In this regard, health authorities are calling for these victims to receive prosthetic medications

00:43and vital psychological support, especially for child patients.
