00:00Another report with spliced clips of that same speech linking words about Donald Trump supporting
00:05a march with a later phrase about fighting. In a news night of June 2022, there was an edit
00:12with similarities to the panorama cut, albeit with more context of President Trump's words about
00:18cheering on senators. But the phrase fight like hell was followed by.
00:23And fight they did when they got to the Capitol.
00:28That edit provoked this response on the programme from a former White House chief of staff.
00:34Your video, and I'm no apologist for the President on this.

00:40Your video actually spliced together the presentation. He said, we're going to go down and we're going to cheer on our
00:46senators and our House members. And then it actually goes on to say in some of them we might not be able to.
00:50And that line about we fight and fight like hell is actually later in the speech.
00:54Yet your video makes it look like those two things came together.
00:56That's the type of that's the type of messaging here that so many people in my country find frustrating.
