00:00I will take a few questions after a couple of very brief points to share with you today.
00:04Just make sure you put your questions in the name of this chat with your outlet and your name.
00:10It is Thursday, November 13th, and today marks day 769 since Hamas started a war,
00:17murdering our people and taking them hostage.
00:21Today marks exactly one month since our 20 living hostages returned home for a second chance at life
00:28when they were freed from the chain's horrifying abuse and starvation and Islamic rule,
00:34a terror rule that they were kidnapped into.
00:36Our 20 living hostages are not only rehabilitating, but they're living life again,
00:42eating food they have dreamed of, spending time with the people they have missed the most,
00:47and recovering from the enormous trauma they endured for two years.
00:51It also marks exactly one month since Hamas first violated the ceasefire deal.
00:56As they did not return all 28 of our deceased hostages, they were held in captivity.
01:02Let's not forget, the terror group had 72 hours to search for the remains of our deceased hostage one month ago,
01:09and one month later today, the remains of four of our hostages are still being held by terrorists inside of the Gaza Strip.
01:17We are demanding for them to be returned home immediately.

01:48and we will not stop until each and every one of them is brought home.
01:52There are media reports claiming right now that Hamas and Islamic Jihad are preparing to return the body of one of our four hostages later this evening.
02:03I can share with you that Israel has not received any official notification of this yet,
02:08but we are prepared 24-7 to receive the remains of our hostages.
02:13We will know only it is one of our hostages' remains once it is transferred to the Forensic Institute
02:19and is confirmed with proper identification.
02:23Israel is continuing to enforce the ceasefire agreement against Hamas terrorists every single day.
02:30On Wednesday, a terrorist was identified crossing the yellow line near Han Yunus and approaching our IDF forces.
02:38Following the identification, our IDF soldiers eliminated the terrorist as it posed an immediate threat to our soldiers.
02:45Additionally, on Wednesday,
02:46while IDF troops were operating in the area of Rafah to dismantle underground terror infrastructure,
02:53all in accordance with the ceasefire,
02:56they identified four armed terrorists on the eastern side of the yellow line within Israeli operational control.
03:03Our forces acted and struck and eliminated three of the armed terrorists.
03:07Prime Minister Netanyahu has made it abundantly clear
03:10Israel will work to defend all of its borders
03:13and will do so independently to protect our nation from any threat.
03:17Prime Minister Netanyahu will make independent decisions for this country,
03:22for all of its citizens.
03:25And Kogat announced today that about 250 Gazans in need of medical treatment and their caregivers,
03:31and Gazans with dual citizenship,
03:33exited Gaza on Wednesday through the Karim Shalom crossing,
03:36to the Allenby Bridge crossing and the Ramon Airport.
03:40Also, the Zikim crossing is now open for the entry of humanitarian aid trucks into the Gaza Strip.
03:47And the aid will be transferred by the United Nations and international organizations
03:51following thorough security inspections by the Land Crossings Authority of the Ministry of Defense.
03:58Hundreds of trucks carrying food, water, fuel, gas, medicines, medical equipment, tents, and shelter supplies
04:05continues to enter the Gaza Strip every single day
04:09in coordination with the UN, international organizations, donor countries, and the private sector.
04:15I'll now take a few questions.
04:16Okay, so the first question is from Dan Williams Bloomberg.
04:29Question for the briefing.
04:30Is Israel preparing part of the yellow zone for renewed Palestinian habitation,
04:35even in the absence of a Hamas disarmament and ouster in the Gaza Strip?
04:39If so, where, for how many civilians, and with what end date?
04:43So Israel will maintain overall security control of the Gaza Strip.
04:47And, of course, all details in the 20-point plan will be followed.
04:52Israel will continue to uphold this 20-point plan.
04:58Alexander Cornwell from Reuters.
05:01All right, this is a very lengthy question.
05:05U.S. Secretary of State last night expressed concern about the recent wave of settler violence in the West Bank.
05:10Overnight, Chief of Staff Eyal Zemir condemned recent settler attacks, according to Israeli police.
05:16Three of the four individuals were arrested on Tuesday.
05:19Does the government unequivocally condemn acts of violence committed by Israeli citizens against Palestinians in the West Bank?
05:27So let me tell you this on Judea and Samaria.
05:30Any incidents of lawlessness are dealt with to the full extent of the law.
05:34The IDF operates under strict ethical guidelines and international law in Judea and Samaria.
05:42Commander of the Central Command made it clear that the IDF does not accept any situation in which lawbreakers harm property and civilians.
05:51Jewish communities are under attack, and they are oftentimes conveniently overlooked in the media.
05:56Israel has experienced a wave of terror perpetrated by individuals, many of them very young, inspired by vicious incitement in Palestinian social and traditional media urged on by the Palestinian leadership.
06:10The Palestinian Authority systematically rewards people for attacking and terrorizing Jews, and the more serious the fences, the more money they receive.
06:19The abhorrent pay-for-slay initiative by the PA has continued, and the policy must stop, as it drives and it fuels terror against Jews.
06:30Now, as part of the ceasefire, Israel released 250 Palestinian terrorists serving life sentences.
06:36The PA paid these same terrorists, many of them from Hamas, and they have made a collective of $70 million.
06:42Nine major attacks took place in September, eight in the West Bank, Judea, and Samaria region, and one side, Israel.
06:50The security services were able to foil 105 major terror attacks.
06:55Nine people were killed and 24 injured in the September terror attacks.
07:00I'd also like to point to you more information on the ground.
07:03When it comes to terrorism from Judea and Samaria, I can tell you that Israel's policy is that there will be no safe haven for terrorists in Judea and Samaria.
07:12The IDF and our security services continue to operate vigorously to foil terror attack activity in the region, and we will reach anyone who harms the state of Israel and its citizens and our soldiers.
07:26The terrorism against Israeli citizens is the result of ongoing incitement directed by Iran and Hamas, encouraging attacks against civilians and their murder, and attempting to ignite additional arenas.
07:38Let's also bring everyone up to speed about the events of today that came out.
07:43Let's talk about the reality.
07:45Shin Bet and IDF announced today with the Israeli police that they dismantled a Hamas terrorist stronghold, where terrorists operated in the Bethlehem area,
07:54planning to carry out shooting attacks against security forces and Israeli civilians.
08:00More than 50 terrorists were apprehended in 15 different operations that took place.
08:06One of the terrorist cells was in advanced stages of operational readiness, preparing to carry out attacks within the immediate time frame.
08:15Now, thwarting this type of terrorism prevented significant terror attacks from happening, which could have had a devastating toll on our soldiers and our citizens.
08:30The
