00:00:30The 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible Candy Apple Red 289 Motor with an Automatic Transmission,
00:00:50one of the most sought-after classic cars of all time.
00:00:54The Mustang came out with this body style in 1964.5 and it's called a 64.5 because they
00:00:59didn't start releasing it until the middle of the year.
00:01:02Then they made it for two more years until 1967 when it started to look more like a hot rod.
00:01:09My parents have always known that I've wanted a classic 66 Mustang.
00:01:12It's my dream, my passion, the car that I've always dreamt about owning.
00:01:17This is like one of the cars you see in the movies.
00:01:20Wow.
00:01:21Come on.
00:01:23Sit in it.
00:01:32Look at the window mechanisms.
00:01:34You have to roll it up with your hand because it's not electric.
00:01:37Do you know how cool this is going to be when we take this to school on Monday?
00:01:42The last day of school and we are going to go out in style.
00:01:45Are you kidding me?
00:01:47We're going to be the coolest girls in school.
00:01:50I can't believe my parents bought this for me.
00:01:52I mean this is like a dream come true.
00:01:55Now we don't have to take the bus to band practice anymore.
00:01:59Guys might actually notice us with this car.
00:02:03Okay, get ready for this.
00:02:05It's a big surprise.
00:02:06Don't look, don't look, don't look, and Alex!
00:02:11What the hell are you doing in this car?
00:02:13Out!
00:02:14Out now!
00:02:15Get out!
00:02:16What are you doing?
00:02:16This is not your car.
00:02:17This is really your car.
00:02:18This is really your car.
00:02:19Okay, so sorry about this.
00:02:20It really wasn't supposed to go down like this.
00:02:22You, young lady, have no right to be sitting in his car.
00:02:26He worked for it.
00:02:28You did not work for it.
00:02:29You are still in school.
00:02:32And you've got to get to music class.
00:02:34Do you not?
00:02:35Yeah.
00:02:36Yeah.
00:02:36Thanks mom and dad.
00:02:37We are so proud of you, son.
00:02:38You deserve it.
00:02:39You worked for it.
00:02:39And you earned every bit of it.
00:02:41And that's the whole point.
00:02:43You're going to get to roll up as a freshman in this beautiful, bomb ass,
00:02:48candy apple, red Mustang, which I wish that I had.
00:02:52Believe me, I wish I had when I was your age.
00:02:54But you did it.
00:02:55You had a Volkswagen.
00:02:56But that's the reason why I married you.
00:02:58You got that right, dear.
00:02:59And that's why you're so cute.
00:03:01I love you.
00:03:02I love you.
00:03:03But you, young lady, you have got some work to do.
00:03:07Do you understand?
00:03:07This is how it works.
00:03:08It's a little quid pro quo.
00:03:10Okay?
00:03:10So you do the work.
00:03:12You get good grades.
00:03:13And then you get a bonus round.
00:03:15You see?
00:03:16So now let's stop talking about all of this and get your butt to class.
00:03:21Because you guys are both late for band practice.
00:03:23So hip hop, hip hop.
00:03:24Let's go.
00:03:24Come on.
00:03:25Band practice.
00:03:25We got to get going.
00:03:26You guys in the car.
00:03:27We got to get down to the state inspection section.
00:03:29And you guys have got to get out of here.
00:03:31Go, go, go, go, go, go.
00:03:33Girls, enjoy the bus.
00:03:34I drove it here by the way too, so I know what I'm doing.
00:03:46I'm going to have a car like that one day.
00:03:47You wait.
00:03:48Then maybe we could be cool for once in our lives.
00:03:52Come on.
00:03:53Let's go wear backpacks and get to band practice.
00:04:04Good morning, Mr. Peterson.
00:04:20Morning.
00:04:22Thank you for the ride.
00:04:23We'd be walking without you.
00:04:25Anytime.
00:04:34I'm trying out for drum major.
00:04:36Really?
00:04:37You don't get enough music from playing your trombone,
00:04:38and now you want to conduct it?
00:04:40Let's not forget about the endless band tapes you watch.
00:04:44It's a really good position for me.
00:04:46I think I'm going to try out for section later.
00:04:48Hey, Claire.
00:04:50I heard you're trying out for drum major this year.
00:04:52Um, maybe.
00:04:54Hey, don't worry.
00:04:54You're going to do fine.
00:04:55I'll practice with you over the summer before I go off to college.
00:04:58That way the seniors don't beat you out.
00:05:00Thanks, Larry.
00:05:02Hey, don't worry.
00:05:03Being in the band is like being in a family.
00:05:05Right, Alex?
00:05:08Right.
00:05:08The family sticks together, no matter how hard it gets.
00:05:15I wish all guys would talk to me like that.
00:05:18Outside of the band, I mean.
00:05:33I wish all well that he'd win the bar today.
00:05:45When you see a diferente seat, I'd be mouth just off andοΏ½.
00:05:47I'm excited.
00:05:49I'm sorry.
00:05:50Work Ρ…ΠΎΡ€ΠΎΡˆ.
00:05:50Bowel MBG.
00:05:51I am.
00:05:51Now you are all much better.
00:05:52I'm happy.
00:05:54Let's trust them.
00:05:54All day we are back to college.
00:05:55I am.
00:05:56I wish you were young.
00:05:57And that's right.
00:05:58You are so sorry.
00:05:59She is fine.
00:06:31Oh, so what are your parents doing this weekend?
00:06:52They're taking my brother to see his new college.
00:06:54Where's that?
00:06:55College Station.
00:06:56They're taking him to get acquainted with the school, and then they're looking at dorms.
00:07:01Oh, hey, check it out.
00:07:07Randy's checking you out.
00:07:12Hey, Randy.
00:07:15Ruby.
00:07:19What are you two band geeks looking at?
00:07:21We were watching the football practice.
00:07:24You sure you weren't looking at my man, Randy?
00:07:27No, we were waiting for the football team to clear the field so we could practice our band
00:07:30stats.
00:07:31That's what band kids do.
00:07:33You think you're real cool, huh, band geek?
00:07:37Bet your mother doesn't know that you two still play with Barbies.
00:07:41Don't make mom jokes around Claire.
00:07:43Why not, band geek?
00:07:44Because her mom isn't around anymore.
00:07:48I'm a mama's girl.
00:07:49I'm a mama's girl.
00:07:51I'm a mama's girl.
00:07:56Leave us alone, Ruby.
00:07:57Or else what?
00:08:00Try.
00:08:01Rick.
00:08:02Slip, slip.
00:08:02Losers.
00:08:10Band nerds.
00:08:11Band nerds.
00:08:14It's hard getting picked on by those three girls.
00:08:16What do you expect?
00:08:17We're dorks and we will always be dorks.
00:08:20One day, I'm going to stand up to Ruby, drive the coolest car in school, and ask Randy out
00:08:26on a date.
00:08:28Keep dreaming.
00:08:29Besides, when do girls ask boys out on dates?
00:08:32I'm going to change that.
00:08:34Come on, let's go to driver's ed.
00:08:38You will get a ticket if you do not turn off your signal light.
00:08:42Thanks, Mr. Gleason.
00:08:49Um, thanks.
00:08:52This is a classroom, not a romantic adventure.
00:08:55Ladies, take your seats.
00:08:58As I was saying, tomorrow is your final examination.
00:09:06It best behooves you to remember what was taught in this class if you wish to pass that
00:09:14examination, which begs the question, at the end of the day, who will be a winner and who
00:09:23will be a loser?
00:09:27Since tomorrow is the final examination, today will consist of an oral pop quiz.
00:09:34First question, when is it improper to make a right turn on a red light?
00:09:41Hi, sweetie.
00:09:44Mom, tomorrow is my big day.
00:09:46I know.
00:09:47My little one is finally taking her driving test.
00:09:49I can't wait to get my license.
00:09:55Oh, I have to take this.
00:09:57Guess what?
00:09:58What?
00:09:59Randy and Zach are going to be hanging out at the pig stand tonight.
00:10:02How do you know?
00:10:03Well, I overheard them talking on my way to the nurse's office for my checkup.
00:10:07You know there's nothing wrong with you, right?
00:10:09Your dad is just paranoid.
00:10:11I know, but...
00:10:12Your mom passing away has nothing to do with what you're feeling.
00:10:15Cancer isn't something you can catch.
00:10:17It just happens to people.
00:10:19Yeah, I know.
00:10:21I'm sorry.
00:10:22I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
00:10:23I was out of line for saying that.
00:10:25That's okay.
00:10:27I'll meet you at the pig stand in an hour.
00:10:29Yeah, I'll see you later.
00:10:30Bye.
00:10:37You hear that?
00:11:01My favorite song, Claire de Lune.
00:11:02Hey, dude.
00:11:06We don't want to look like band words.
00:11:07Let's go inside.
00:11:18Well, I really screwed up during band practice today.
00:11:20Why?
00:11:21What happened?
00:11:22Well, nothing really, but Mr. Robinson just got really mad at me.
00:11:26Was it hot?
00:11:26You don't do well under heat.
00:11:28Yeah, I know, but it really wasn't an excuse, you know, for it.
00:11:32Do you see that?
00:11:35Yes, I do.
00:11:37Wouldn't it be cool if you got a chance to invite those guys to a party?
00:11:40I could show them my band tapes.
00:11:42No.
00:11:43I mean, real music.
00:11:44Like what other people listen to?
00:11:46I listen to real music.
00:11:48I mean, what cool people listen to.
00:11:52Oh.
00:11:54Just one time, done.
00:11:56Y'all going to that game next week?
00:11:58We're going to go against Church Heathers here, and we're going to beat him with our new star quarterback, Randy.
00:12:01I hope you're ready for this.
00:12:07I don't want a driver on the road who cannot operate a motor vehicle properly.
00:12:13Yes, sir.
00:12:13You know the procedure is you take your foot off the gas, you put it on the brake, you put
00:12:26the car in gear, you put your foot on the gas, and we go.
00:12:30Oh, yeah, I was only testing you.
00:12:35Yeah, right.
00:12:41Well, well, well.
00:12:43If it isn't little Alex from band class.
00:12:46Oh, no.
00:12:47The champion of the racing squad versus the bangy.
00:12:50And our little driver's ed buddy.
00:12:52Victory, victory it is when we kick your butt.
00:12:55Think you can beat me?
00:13:12Let's go.
00:13:14Come on, band loser.
00:13:15We're going to take you down.
00:13:16Don't even think about it.
00:13:18If you wish to pass this examination.
00:13:20Banders.
00:13:20Later, loser.
00:13:22See ya.
00:13:22See ya.
00:13:22See ya.
00:13:23See ya.
00:13:24Do you think you passed the test?
00:13:30I hope so.
00:13:31I prayed and studied for it all night long.
00:13:34I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
00:13:47Did you see that?
00:13:48I did it.
00:13:48I passed.
00:13:49Congratulations.
00:13:50Congratulations.
00:13:50Now we can go places.
00:13:53Wow.
00:13:54Look at Zach.
00:13:56He looks so hot.
00:13:58Look at Randy.
00:14:00He's so cute.
00:14:02I wish we just had one chance to talk to those guys.
00:14:07Maybe we do.
00:14:09Now that I got my license, maybe we have that chance.
00:14:15I'm going to ask Randy out on a date.
00:14:17No way.
00:14:30Not unless you want to get beaten up by our favorite bully friend.
00:14:33We'll see.
00:14:36I love my family.
00:14:38I love my family.
00:14:39I think about how lucky I am when I start comparing my family to every other family out there.
00:14:46And you know, you see it.
00:14:47You see it when you go to the big, you know, class reunions.
00:14:50And you see the people that are your own age and what they've done with their families.
00:14:55And then I go and I visit your school and I watch other parents.
00:14:57I think we've done very well with our children, don't you?
00:15:00Yes, dear.
00:15:01So since I passed my driver's test, do you guys think you can buy me a car like you did for Bart?
00:15:06The answer is you will have a car.
00:15:08But your first car is going to be the same as his first car.
00:15:13You're kidding, right?
00:15:23The van?
00:15:24Yeah.
00:15:25Why?
00:15:25It's been parked in the garage.
00:15:27It probably doesn't even work.
00:15:29Yes, it does.
00:15:30I will look like a complete dork in the van.
00:15:33You really look like a complete dork.
00:15:36Shut up.
00:15:37Be nice, be nice.
00:15:38Listen, so, Bart, why don't you go ahead and get your stuff and grab everything.
00:15:43Get everything together.
00:15:45I want you to put your book money away because you're not going to need to bring it with you.
00:15:48I've decided to pay for everything this weekend.
00:15:50I'd rather that you hold on to it.
00:15:52So, what about me?
00:15:54You are going to be staying here because you can't afford to miss drumline practice on Saturday morning.
00:16:00I'm staying here all by myself?
00:16:02Not by yourself.
00:16:03I've made all the arrangements.
00:16:05I already went ahead and I called Claire's dad and I set everything up.
00:16:10And he's totally fine with her coming over for the weekend.
00:16:13So, you're going to spend a nice, lovely weekend with Claire and you guys, I'm sure, will have a great time.
00:16:20All I ask is that you're responsible and you don't do anything I wouldn't do.
00:16:26Speaking of which, we need to start getting everything out to the SUV so that we can be packed and ready to go.
00:16:32So, you're not taking the Mustang?
00:16:36No.
00:16:38No.
00:16:38I know exactly how your mind's working right now.
00:16:41Don't get any big ideas.
00:16:43I'm telling you, the Mustang stays where it is.
00:16:46Okay?
00:16:48Okay.
00:16:48I can't believe my parents bought my brother a cool Mustang and I got stuck with his old van.
00:16:57Well, at least you have a car.
00:16:59Well, other kids don't get stuck with this problem.
00:17:02How am I supposed to get a boyfriend?
00:17:04My first wheels have to be cool.
00:17:08Hey, look.
00:17:09Why didn't you come over last night?
00:17:11Are you seeing someone else?
00:17:12You better not.
00:17:13What's going on with you?
00:17:14I'm at practice.
00:17:15Are you really doing this right now?
00:17:16You haven't been spending time with me.
00:17:17That girl's mean.
00:17:18Tell me about it.
00:17:19It's about me.
00:17:20One day, we're going to kick that girl's butt.
00:17:23Can you just give me some space?
00:17:25Space?
00:17:25You're not going to get any space.
00:17:27Now's your chance.
00:17:30Go.
00:17:31We're not talking.
00:17:32What do you expect me to do?
00:17:33Don't give me an attitude.
00:17:35God, just go away.
00:17:37No.
00:17:37Just leave.
00:17:38You know what?
00:17:39They're about to yell at me.
00:17:40You know what?
00:17:40Excuse me.
00:17:41What do you want, fan geek?
00:17:43What do you think you're doing in my business?
00:17:45I think you should stop yelling at Randy.
00:17:56I don't like to be touched, fan geek.
00:17:59But I'll let it slide just this once.
00:18:02If I catch you talking or even looking at my boyfriend, Randy,
00:18:07me and two of my friends here,
00:18:09we're going to rearrange your face.
00:18:13And the same goes for your little band friend, too.
00:18:15Hey, break it up.
00:18:18You three, my office, now.
00:18:22Now.
00:18:23You better watch your back.
00:18:24I'm watching you.
00:18:25I'm watching you.
00:18:31That's intense.
00:18:33We better watch it, because Ruby is going to kick her butts.
00:18:36I don't care.
00:18:37I tried my best to get Randy's attention,
00:18:39and I know he noticed me today.
00:18:40Yes, you did.
00:18:41And did you see Zach's cute face?
00:18:43Settle down, Claire.
00:18:44If we're going to get boys to notice us at school,
00:18:46we need a car.
00:18:48You're not thinking what I think you're thinking.
00:18:52We're going to take my brother's 1966 Ford Mustang to the pig stand tonight.
00:18:56Oh, you're crazy, Alex.
00:18:58My parents are 300 miles away,
00:19:00taking my brother to see his new college dorm room.
00:19:03Do I look crazy?
00:19:06They'll never find out.
00:19:08This is not a good idea.
00:19:10But if I get to see Zach's cute face again,
00:19:13then maybe it'll be good.
00:19:15I know where my brother left his keys.
00:19:17I know where my brother is.
00:19:47I know where my brother is.
00:20:17No way. You did it?
00:20:43We're gonna have fun today.
00:20:47I can't believe you really did it.
00:20:50I told you I was gonna steal my brother's car.
00:20:52We have to take risks in life. Come on.
00:21:17She cries out just to be loved.
00:21:20Just to be loved.
00:21:24She's on.
00:21:32One, two, four, three.
00:21:35It's worth its weight in gold.
00:21:38She dances in the headlights.
00:21:41She moves to the beat of the city.
00:21:51We get lost in the summer heat.
00:21:54Just drive up.
00:21:55Never felt so free.
00:22:01Never felt so free.
00:22:03Never felt so free.
00:22:05Can you feel it?
00:22:18Can you feel it?
00:22:26Can you feel it?
00:22:27Can you feel it?
00:22:39Please.
00:22:45Please.
00:22:46See, that was fun, wasn't it?
00:22:49Yes, taking your brother's car was a great idea.
00:22:52Let's see more fun stuff later.
00:22:53Wait, um, maybe.
00:22:55Do you think we could return the car and, um, not get in trouble?
00:23:00Nothing bad is gonna happen.
00:23:02Are you sure?
00:23:03Yes.
00:23:04Come on, it's getting late.
00:23:05Let's stop by the pig sandwich.
00:23:16Where'd y'all get that cool car from?
00:23:29Oh, I, uh, won it in a card game in Las Vegas.
00:23:33Really?
00:23:34That's so hot.
00:23:41Hey, Alex, I heard you stepped it up to Ruby and her bully friends.
00:23:45Uh, something like that.
00:23:55Can you believe that guy just called me hot?
00:23:57Well, he said that's so hot, but...
00:23:59Well, either way, people are paying attention to us in this car.
00:24:02This car can change your life.
00:24:05So, I was thinking of maybe throwing a house party tomorrow night.
00:24:10Really?
00:24:13Yeah.
00:24:14No.
00:24:15No way.
00:24:16It's just, no one's gonna show up to a party at your house.
00:24:20Um, not cool people, anyway.
00:24:23Well, you can invite the band kids, and I'll invite Randy.
00:24:27Oh, please tell me you're gonna invite back, too.
00:24:29Um, uh, Randy?
00:24:30Hi.

00:24:42No, that's really cool.
00:24:43Do you and your friends wanna go to a house party tomorrow night?
00:24:44Whose party?
00:24:45Mine.
00:24:46You're doing it.
00:24:47As long as you're picking me up in that sweet new car of yours.

00:24:49Do you know where I live, though?
00:24:50Everywhere.

00:25:13I'll see you at 7.30.
00:25:14Yeah, cool.
00:25:15I thought I told you not to talk to my boyfriend, fan geek.
00:25:16You know, I'm getting pretty sick and tired of seeing you walk around school thinking
00:25:17you're some kind of hero.
00:25:18I don't think that.

00:27:23I've never felt so free!
00:27:24Ruby, we just pumped the baddest girls in school.
00:27:29They're probably gonna steal my lunch money for the next two years.
00:27:31It's okay.
00:27:32It was worth it.
00:27:34Yeah, you're right.
00:27:36Let's go home.
00:27:44Ruby was so pissed today.
00:27:46Yeah, it was so funny to see her get so angry, and there was nothing she could do about it.
00:27:51We took off like lightning, and they couldn't even catch us.
00:27:59Can I tell you something?
00:28:01Sure.

00:40:08How do you know when it's right?
00:40:10Well, I like people to think that I'm not actually wearing makeup, so they think I have natural beauty.
00:40:19Okay.
00:40:20Now look up.
00:40:22This will make your eyelashes look longer and darker.
00:40:25My mother wasn't around to teach me this sort of thing, so I mainly learn from watching TV.

00:43:35I live right down the street.
00:43:37Yeah, but you're the drumline captain, aren't you?
00:43:40Uh, kind of.
00:43:41I knew I remembered you.
00:43:42Fred, come here for a second.
00:43:48You remember Bonnie's little daughter.
00:43:50Oh, yes.
00:43:53You've grown up?
00:43:54She sure has, hasn't she?
00:43:57Hey, is that your Candy Apple Red 1966 Ford Mustang convertible?

00:44:07Oof, I always wanted one of those.
00:44:10It's gorgeous.
00:44:13Alex, hey, um, I see you've met my parents.
00:44:17Yeah, they're both very nice.
00:44:20Mom, uh, we're gonna get out of here.
00:44:22Well, you all have a good time, okay?
00:44:26And, uh, take care of that Mustang.
00:44:28Fred.
00:44:29I mean, uh, take care of my son, Randy.
00:44:32Will you stop it?
00:44:34He's a grown man.
00:44:34He can handle himself.
00:44:56I thought we were going to your house party.
00:44:59Well, we are, but I thought we should grab something to eat first.
00:45:02Okay.
00:45:03I told Zach and Kirk to meet us there, so I guess I'll just tell them I'll be a little late.
00:45:07What is this?
00:45:18Sushi.
00:45:19Ever had it before?
00:45:20Um, like once.
00:45:22I thought you were the type of guy who knew all the different types of sushi.
00:45:26No.
00:45:27It's actually a real mystery to me.
00:45:30So, how did your friends react when you told them you were going out with me tonight?
00:45:35I really don't care what my friends think.
00:45:37I kinda used to doing my own thing.
00:45:39How do you feel about going out with a fangirl like me?
00:45:42It's alright, I guess.
00:45:43I mean, you're at every football game, and you're there playing cadences to the football
00:45:47team.
00:45:48So, you listen to the songs we play?
00:45:50Yeah, of course.
00:45:51I mean, how else am I supposed to get hyped for the game?
00:45:54I don't know.
00:45:55I just...
00:45:56I figured you didn't know I existed.
00:45:58Well, I do.
00:45:59And you're like, really good at the drums, too.
00:46:04I just don't like telling people I play in the band because I don't like to get picked
00:46:10on.
00:46:11You mean Ruby?
00:46:13Well, we're not really together anymore.
00:46:17I probably shouldn't have been going out with her in the first place.
00:46:21I started to realize she's just a bully, and I'm just now seeing that.
00:46:27We've been together since, like, sophomore year, and things were good at first.
00:46:31She was nice, but she's just gotten more and more aggressive.
00:46:36And I'm just now starting to open up my eyes and see how she treats people.
00:46:40Can I tell you something?
00:46:45I admire your adult decision to break up with Ruby.
00:46:50You're the hottest guy in school, and you don't deserve to be treated like that.
00:46:54Well, thank you for coming out with me tonight.
00:47:01The girls in the band will never believe that we're out on a date.
00:47:06the girls in the band will never forget the miten of her before.
00:47:14This isn't much of a party, I'm not really that cool, but you go inside.
00:47:19I'll meet you in there.
00:47:20um this isn't much of a party i'm not really that cool but you go inside i'll meet you in

00:54:54Hey, have you seen Claire?
00:55:09Last time I saw, she was throwing out the trash.

00:55:14Okay.
00:55:15Thanks.
00:55:16Hey guys, listen up.
00:55:19Have any of you seen Claire?
00:55:21Nope.
00:55:22Okay.
00:55:23Well, I wanted to show you something really special.
00:55:27My new car.
00:55:29I went in Las Vegas because I'm a really great card player.
00:55:32Yeah, tell us about it.
00:55:34Who wants to see it?
00:55:49Okay, everyone.
00:55:50Just like I promised, the Candy Apple Red 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible.
00:56:05Claire?
00:56:06What happened to you?
00:56:20Claire?
00:56:21What happened to you?
00:56:22Little Alex.
00:56:23This has been one hell of a night, hasn't it?
00:56:38Look at your friend over there.
00:56:40All tied up like the band geek she is.
00:56:42Aww.
00:56:43Why don't you tell all your band friends here how you really got this car?
00:56:49You're just a fake Alex.
00:56:51Your little friend told me the whole story.
00:56:53How you never won a bet in Vegas.
00:56:55Matter of fact, you've never even been to Vegas.
00:56:58And as for this Candy Apple Red 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible?
00:57:03Well, that's not yours either.
00:57:06Why don't you tell your band friends how you really got it and you stole it from your older brother.
00:57:11You've been driving around in a stolen vehicle for the past few days.
00:57:14You are nothing but a band loser just like the rest of them.
00:57:22Have a good night, band loser.
00:57:33What the hell, Alex?
00:57:39You kicked me out of the room.
00:57:41And then these girls beat me up and tied me up and threw me in this car.
00:57:45I thought you had my back.
00:57:49We gotta go, Randy.
00:57:50We don't need to be around this type of drama.
00:57:53We already got our own.
00:57:56I'm gonna go ahead and go with the guys.
00:57:59They were talking about finishing the night at the bake stand, so...
00:58:17I am so sorry, Claire.
00:58:22Now, when I needed you most, you were off trying to hook up with Randy.
00:58:30Help me!
00:58:45Please forgive me. I just wanted to be cool for once.
00:58:48And you were.
00:58:51I just wanted Randy to notice me.
00:58:54Well, at least you guys would take him out to dinner.
00:58:56Yeah, but just like everything else, it doesn't last.
00:59:05One day, none of this will matter.
00:59:11We'll grow up and we'll go to college and this will just be a memory in my life.
00:59:17A time in my life when I just wanted to feel real.
00:59:21But I don't know if I should be proud or upset.
00:59:30I'm just a stupid band nerd trying to beat the odds.
00:59:34For once in my life, I just wanted to be the girl that boys look at and think,
00:59:40wow, she's got everything together.
00:59:43So I'm sorry if I make mistakes, but I'm just trying to fit in.
00:59:48I'm sorry if I make mistakes, but I'm just trying to fit in.
00:59:51I really ruined it.
01:00:14All I wanted was to have a good time with my best friend in the whole world.
01:00:31I just wanted to show her that she could have a good time for once.
01:00:36I ruined my chance with Randy.
01:00:42I ruined my brother's car and whatever reputation I had left.
01:00:48And now, my best friend in the whole world is mad at me and there's nothing I can do about it.
01:00:56There's nothing I can do about it.
01:01:26There's nothing I can do about it.
01:01:27There's nothing I can do about it.
01:01:35There's nothing there about it behind...
01:01:43There's nothing I can do about it.
01:01:46I don't know.
01:02:16I don't know.
01:02:46Alex, you can fix this problem before your parents get home.
01:03:04You know what?
01:03:08You're right.
01:03:14I'm tired of Ruby bullying us.
01:03:18I'm not going to let her bully me anymore.
01:03:21And I'm not going to let her bully you either.
01:03:23Just like Mr. Gleeson said, who are we going to be at the end of the day?
01:03:30A winner or a loser?
01:03:33If we don't make a stand, we're never going to make a stand.
01:03:37Let's make this one count.
01:03:40I'm not going to let you leave as a dork.
01:03:42Let's go get Ruby and her friends.
01:03:46And let's make this a night to remember.
01:03:50Ruby and her two bully friends messed with the wrong band geeks.
01:04:12there you go.
01:04:14Hey.
01:04:14Hey.
01:04:19Hey.
01:04:20Hey.
01:04:24Hey.
01:04:24Hey.
01:04:24Hey.
01:04:25Hey.
01:04:57Hey, are you okay?
01:05:09Yes, I'm fine.
01:05:10I just tripped on my shoelace.
01:05:11Okay, let's go.
01:05:19Look who decided to show up.
01:05:21What, you band dorks didn't get enough earlier?
01:05:23Or do we need to kick your butts again?
01:05:25You're going down, band geek.
01:05:38You think you can pick on me?
01:05:40You've gone on my last nerves since you got into my business.
01:05:44And now I'm going to knock your teeth out.
01:05:46What did I do that was so bad to you?
01:05:51Just like all the other kids at school that you pick on.
01:05:54I'm not the one, and Claire doesn't deserve to be picked on like that.
01:05:58You know, all the mom jokes you make all the time.
01:06:01Well, yeah, she doesn't have a mom, and maybe you do, but not everyone can go home to their mom every night.
01:06:06You know something?
01:06:08I tried to be cool for once.
01:06:11I took my brother's car without his permission.
01:06:13And for what?
01:06:15So I can maybe impress the hottest guy at school?
01:06:18It's not easy being a band geek.
01:06:23You have to play songs for the football team, play cadences for the cheerleaders, and show up to band practice all the time.
01:06:30For once in my life, I wanted to be cool just like you.
01:06:35And you know what?
01:06:37You're not cool.
01:06:39And I never want to end up like you and your two bully friends, because I like who I am.
01:06:44And I'm going to kick your ass, because I'm tired of being pushed around.
01:06:49I'm going to rearrange your face, band geek.
01:06:51Good luck trying.
01:06:53You're not going to bully me anymore.
01:06:55Me neither.
01:07:00Ruby, can we just talk this out?
01:07:18Go inside.
01:07:22Oh!
01:07:30Come on, loser.
01:07:42Get off me!
01:07:51Want some more?
01:07:52Let go!
01:07:53Give me that!
01:07:54You think you can beat me?
01:07:56Well, you can't.
01:07:57You can lie by your car and try to steal my boyfriend, but you can't fool the rest of the school.
01:08:04What'd you think?
01:08:05You were going to get away with this lie?
01:08:07You're nothing but a band geek, and that's what you will always be.
01:08:13Who wants to go up against me?
01:08:17Get up.
01:08:18What?
01:08:22Oh my God.
01:08:24Nobody?
01:08:25Hey, Ruby, ready for round two?
01:08:30I was born ready, you little band geek.
01:08:32Come on, then.
01:08:38You are nothing but a little loser band geek.
01:08:42You and your little band geek friend are never going to be cool.
01:08:46Let's go see Alex get her butt whipped by Ruby.
01:08:59Hit her.
01:09:00Alex! Alex! Alex! Alex! Alex! Alex!
01:09:16You never should have started this fight, Alex.
01:09:19You're gonna lose. It's over for you.
01:09:22Oh my god, Ruby, what are you doing?
01:09:24Get off me!
01:09:25You're taking this too far.
01:09:26No, I'm not. Go!
01:09:27Jesus, she's been through it. Now I'll tell you what you've got to know!
01:09:33Get out of my way!
01:09:37Go, Sarah!
01:09:46Oh!
01:09:47That looked like a hurt.
01:09:49Ow!
01:09:55Are you okay, Sarah?
01:09:58Are you alright?
01:10:00Alex!
01:10:07You can do this, trust me.
01:10:14Come on.
01:10:16Go, Alex!
01:10:17Get her!
01:10:18Over one!
01:10:22Get her, Alex!
01:10:27Get her!
01:10:28Come on.
01:10:32Come on, dad!
01:10:38You got her!
01:10:42Good ass!
01:10:45Come on.
01:10:46You can do it, Alex.
01:10:48Come on!
01:10:50No, no!
01:10:51Oh!
01:10:52I can't believe we did it.
01:11:04We will go down in history as the girls that beat up Ruby and her friends.
01:11:08Do you understand this?
01:11:09We are heroes, girl.
01:11:10Heroes.
01:11:22You were pretty brave tonight.
01:11:40You showed the whole school that you're not afraid of being who you really are.
01:11:44Well, I was scared, but I had to do what I had to do.
01:11:49I've been bullied my whole life, and without Alex,
01:11:52I wouldn't have been able to stand up to those girls.
01:11:55Do you think you can teach me to play trombone one day?
01:11:59I thought you had a girlfriend.
01:12:01Not after tonight.
01:12:04I thought you'd never ask.
01:12:06You know, I learned a lot about you tonight.
01:12:24What?
01:12:25That I'm not completely a dork?
01:12:26No.
01:12:27I just always thought that the band geeks were like rejects or something.
01:12:32And tonight I think a little different.
01:12:35I don't know.
01:12:35Ruby was always just a bully, and somebody had to put her in her place.
01:12:40And you are just who you are.
01:12:42Even if you did lie about your car.
01:12:47Yeah, well, I'm going to pay for that tomorrow.
01:12:50And probably never leave my house again.
01:12:54But it was worth every minute.
01:12:59You were worth every minute to me.
01:13:02I mean that.
01:13:03That was fun.
01:13:31We're going to take y'all home.
01:13:31Thanks for a great night.
01:14:00Tell your parents I'm sorry for getting you home so late.
01:14:03I wouldn't worry about it.
01:14:04I mean, I told them I was out with the guys anyway, so.
01:14:06I guess I'm in trouble with them now.
01:14:08I wouldn't say that.
01:14:08I don't know.
01:14:18I would say that.
01:14:20I don't know.
01:14:51I had a really great time last night.
01:15:10Me too.
01:15:11I loved how you kicked Ruby in her friend's butts.
01:15:14You better watch it or I might kick your butt too.
01:15:21You better watch it or you better watch it or you better watch it.
01:15:51Here, we have to put the cover on the car so we don't have to see it.
01:16:09It's going to be a great summer.
01:16:30Yeah, it is.
01:16:31Come on, we've got a house to clean.
01:16:49Oh, wow.
01:16:51There's so much stuff.
01:16:53We've got a lot to clean.
01:16:54My parents are going to kill me.
01:17:00Yep.
01:17:02Um, let's clean this.
01:17:05Sounds good.
01:17:05Okay.
01:17:06Let's clean.
01:17:36Sen, will you get off the phone and help me with these bags, please?
01:17:49Yeah, well, he can do it because my back is killing me.
01:17:52Oh my gosh, that traffic was terrible.
01:17:56Worst ever.
01:17:57Oh, if you could get that, that would hurt my back.
01:18:00It hurts.
01:18:01Oh my gosh.
01:18:02All right, so, uh...
01:18:06Oh, does anybody else have a weird feeling in their stomach?
01:18:20I don't mean the burrito place we stopped at because that's a special feeling right there.
01:18:25But I've got another feeling that it's not right.
01:18:28There's something wrong.
01:18:29There's something very, very wrong.
01:18:32Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
01:18:42Honey, leave the car alone.
01:18:44We need to go and check up on the girls.
01:18:46But what if...
01:18:47No, no.
01:18:47You're just worried about the car.
01:18:49We need to go inside.
01:18:49All right, we made it.
01:19:04Girls, we're home.
01:19:05Hi, Mom.
01:19:07Dad.
01:19:08Ladies.
01:19:09Hi.
01:19:09Hi, girls.
01:19:11How was your weekend?
01:19:12Everything go okay?
01:19:13Yeah, everything went great.
01:19:14Good.
01:19:16See?
01:19:16Our daughter.
01:19:17What did I tell you?
01:19:18She is so trustworthy and her friend, because she's such a good influence, you know, nothing
01:19:24bad would happen.
01:19:25See, that's something to be proud of.
01:19:27That shows that we did a good job parenting.
01:19:29Because most parents, they go away for a weekend and they leave their kid alone and then they
01:19:34got to worry about the house being blown up or something crazy like that while they're
01:19:38gone.
01:19:38With our kids, you know, we know that we can trust them and they're reliable and they're
01:19:44responsible and we come home and everything's just fine.
01:19:48So, good job.
01:19:51What the hell?
01:19:52Where are the keys to my car?
01:19:54You better not invest my car.
01:19:56Uh, you, you wouldn't know anything that he's, uh, talking about, would you?
01:20:11Never.
01:21:56Ow.
01:21:58So, where are your parents going?
01:22:03Yeah.
01:22:04Okay.
01:22:05I'm tired of getting picked on by that.
01:22:08Look at the window mechanisms.
01:22:09You have to use your hand because it's automatic.
01:22:18I don't know my line.
01:22:19It's not electric.
01:22:20It's not electric.
01:22:21Got it.
01:22:25I think my mic fell.
01:22:26I think my mic fell.
01:22:27Big surprise.
01:22:28We're all excited.
01:22:29Here we go.
01:22:30And Alex, what are you doing?
01:22:32Alex, what are you doing?
01:22:33You're going to be a freshman in college with this bomb ass red apple, what is it?
01:22:39Candy apple red.
01:22:40Candy apple red.
01:22:41Thanks, Larry.
01:22:42I looked at camera.
01:22:43I'm sorry.
01:22:44Family sticks.
01:22:45Sorry.
01:22:46Bum bum.
01:22:47Thanks.
01:22:48Thanks, Mr. Griffey.
01:22:49Is the door locked or something?
01:22:53Oh, crap.
01:23:16I wasn't parked.
01:23:19Sorry.
01:23:20Copy that.
01:23:21Thanks, Band Geek!
01:23:36Excuse me? That part?
01:23:38Am I like...
01:23:43I forgot my one.
01:23:46My parents are 300 miles away to see my...
01:23:48to take my brother to see his new college dorm room.
01:23:50My parents are 300 miles away taking my brother to his seas.
01:23:53I tried my best to get Randy to notice me and I know he saw me today.
01:23:57Yes, you did.
01:23:58I know my brother...
01:23:59I know my brother with his keys.
01:24:06Go towards the yard.
01:24:07Okay.
01:24:08Okay.
01:24:09My brain is just like...
01:24:10I said, no.
01:24:11I have to see his new college dorm room.
01:24:15That's cute.
01:24:18Damn it.
01:24:19When you hold it, like lift it a little bit higher and then hold it for a second.
01:24:25Okay.
01:24:26Okay.
01:24:28What is that about?
01:24:30No!
01:24:32Alright.
01:24:33Sorry.
01:24:34I'm not doing anything!
01:24:36I'm laughing.
01:24:38Is that funny?
01:24:39Okay, ready?
01:24:40Yeah.
01:24:41Yeah.
01:24:42I'm sure to pick up my comment.
01:24:47He laughed this time.
01:24:48But he wasn't gonna laugh!
01:24:50He wasn't gonna laugh!
01:24:51He wasn't gonna laugh!
01:24:52I just said, yeah, and he went...
01:24:56See, that was fun, wasn't it?
01:24:57Yes.
01:24:58Um...
01:24:59Can we do that again?
01:25:00Yes.
