00:00Tuesday night. We had three ranked first ranked matchups. Let's get to them really quickly.
00:06Louisville gets revenge. 96-88. They win the Bluegrass State battle over Kentucky. And you
00:15just got to look quickly at Ryan Conwell and Mikel Brown. Mikel Brown's stud freshman. They
00:22were dynamite. And I'm talking about dynamite. Combined for 55 points and seven made threes
00:30as they were the two best players on the floor. Now, Kentucky got down big. And they made
00:36a run in the second half. But I will say this. Pat Kelsey's done a really good job. As bad
00:42as a job that was being done before. It's amazing how quickly you can turn it around with the
00:50right coach and the right transfer. Next big matchup that we had to take place was an 81-77
00:57win by Illinois over Texas Tech in a really good game in Champaign. And I want to take this
01:04opportunity really quick to talk about two people. Number one, you have to talk about
01:10Andrei Sojakovic. Sojakovic? I know that name. Yes, that's Peja's son. Peja's son, great player
01:18to play for the Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks. His son is a little bit of a different
01:24player than he is. Andrei is more of a pull-up game driver slasher, whereas Peja was more of a
01:32three-point marksman. And that scoring ability off the bench to go along with Iwacic, who was a game
01:40time position, ended up playing. Obviously, Wagler, the freshman, giving you 11-7. And Kyler
01:46Boswell being the best player on the floor, giving you 22 points. That's a big win for
01:51Illinois. I want to say this. We just keep talking about all these great coaches, whether
01:58it's Pope, or Izzo, or Dusty May, or, you know, Drew, or, you know, I can go down, up and down the line,
02:09Patino, Hurley. Why don't we talk about Brad Underwood? His kids play so hard. And it's amazing
02:21to watch Brad Underwood, a guy that was a Bobby Huggins disciple, right? Went to Stephen F. Austin,
02:28got that team to the Sweet 16, went to Oklahoma State, boom, left after a year and went to Illinois,
02:34and has done a great job and has made this team a perennial powerhouse. And for them to get that
02:40big win, what a job, 81-77 as Illinois takes out Texas Tech. One last game of, no, last night.
02:51And I'm going to tell you this right now. If Mark Few calls you and tells you that they want to play,
02:58not in a conference, home game, rank, rank, hang up the phone. 90-63,
03:03an absolute bloodbath what they did to Greg McDermott, another great coach that we talk about
03:14a lot. Braden Huff getting better. Graham Ike, All-American, right? Grant Foster coming off the
03:21bench. They're just so dynamic and they can score. It will take a little bit of time,
03:28a little bit of time for Creighton to get going, but they'll be okay. Let's jump really quickly to
03:34a big injury as Seth Tribble had suffered a broken arm in the weight room. In the weight room,
03:42after the biggest win that Huber Davis has had in years, beating Kansas to lose their star guard
03:49is going to be a problem. They're going to have to rally the troops, but I expect Huber Davis to give
03:56his best effort here because if Huber Davis don't win, no one cares about Seth Tribble's broken arm.
04:03He won't have a job after this season.
