00:00I think it is to an to a certain extent like it was for a while and so now you see
00:09the fallout or the consequences of that right and so it's cute and fun in your 20s and 30s but then
00:16all of a sudden you wake up and you're like you know certain people have to ask themselves like
00:22did I let the you know a good one go or now now what you see is a lot of the Peter Pans
00:32just want to have like a home base now and not do that anymore the problem is is the way that you
00:38lived your life for a long time doesn't really lead to that and so that's what I talk about with
00:45these like transitional places that we're all at is like you know even if you do do everything
00:52right sometimes it doesn't work out the Peter Pan thing I mean that was never I guess it was used
00:58to describe me but I always I don't know I never threw away a good thing that I had in my opinion
01:07so you know I never stayed with someone for more than a couple weeks if I didn't see a future with
01:11them but you know you'll see Shep in a chapter of his life now where like he would prefer to be you
01:19know he's ready for a family but he lived like Peter Pan for so long like I said I think Craig
01:24wanted to go the you know was wanted to take this step full step into marriage uh family that stuff
01:33and I talk about it I'm interested in that but I certainly nothing seems to happen and I think
01:40Austin is you'll have to ask him but um you know just I guess we're looking for the right one to come
01:47along it's and uh of course Charleston does foster a certain immaturity level I guess but so does
01:53everywhere else don't tell me that New York is some bastion of adulthood everybody's a maniac there
02:00and LA you could you could write a book about both of them or all of these places I mean it's definitely
02:07true I I think that but I feel like it's that way like in every city I do think that in Charleston we have
02:14like the girls outnumber the guys by quite a lot so the guys they have like more of a pool to choose
02:22from like whenever it comes to like ages as well so like yeah if they want to like get with like a
02:27younger girl then they're gonna go out like where everybody is so I mean yeah it's definitely a thing
02:35and but at the same time like I feel like every guy is a Peter Pan until they actually decide to like
02:40settle down you know well it's good I mean you know we talk about going back to the integrity what
02:46made this show kind of great and fun in the first place I think it was the kind of dating foibles
02:53and kind of competition amongst these ne'er-do-wells who you know refuse to kind of grow up and
03:00act like they're in their 20s which is amusing and funny unto itself and uh it just keeps getting
03:08better with age or worse I'm not sure I'm sure how you could quantify it uh but it's been quite a ride
03:15and you know we're all amused and find it quite funny and yeah the fact that they're the guys are
03:23still at it going strong and uh doing their thing it is it's quite remarkable to behold
