00:00What exactly are you doing and what exactly does this pivot to further
00:04embrace AI mean for for your company? Vinny was started 20 years ago primarily
00:10for filmmakers to be able to exchange videos. These were large files on the
00:13internet they were hard to move around and they needed a place that they could
00:17trust because they needed really high quality video digital files to move.
00:22Over the years we've grown to serve about a billion people around the world
00:26so we have about about 50 billion views of video to about a billion people per
00:31year in 230 countries. We store roughly about close to 10 billion minutes of
00:36video every single year for people and that video is becoming more and more
00:41difficult for most organizations to manage to understand what's inside of it
00:45and video is 82% of the internet. Really? In terms of the amount of storage? The amount of
00:52bits that move across the internet every single day it's about 82% of all the
00:56internet is video and so the only way that you can find out what's inside of
01:00that video is by watching end-to-end and so if I need to find just the exact
01:04moment of the video or I need to find find me all the videos that have my old
01:07logo our ability to be able to make all of that accessible to filmmakers to
01:11creators to audiences to organizations it was one of the most important things so
01:17really hard problem it's one of the biggest big data problems there is
