00:26This guy has no regard for anybody else in the road.
00:30First up, we're in Springdale, Arkansas, where multiple law enforcement agencies
00:59are involved in a high-speed, multi-state pursuit of two armed suspects in an allegedly stolen
01:06moving van.
01:08Earlier, local police in nearby Tawneytown, Arkansas, were alerted to the chase that began
01:1456 miles away in Oklahoma.
01:16Passing on the shoulder 105 miles an hour.
01:21Now, as the chase approaches, these two Tawneytown officers get into position.
01:26They just came over the hill.
01:27Ah, here they come.
01:28Let's see what happens.
01:29The mutatives soon speed past, with multiple officers in hot pursuit.

01:34The two Tawneytown officers join the chase.

01:37And begin to close in on the van.
01:38We got a bunch of traffic here.
01:39I think that's going to end up getting stopped.

01:41Suspects then make a right turn into this empty lot.

01:48Where they appear to be surrounded.

01:50This officer gets out of his cruiser with his gun drawn.
02:05But the driver throws the van into reverse.

02:13But the suspect somehow managed to escape.
02:17As the chase moves on to busy local streets.
02:24Soon, Tawneytown police chief Corey Jennison takes the lead.
02:29As the suspects dangerously weave through lanes.
02:32Almost slamming into this car.
02:34And blowing through multiple red lights.
02:38But Chief Jennison manages to stay close.
02:44As the truck heads toward the highway.
02:48Right now we're taking the interstate.

02:51Correction southbound.
02:53And it's not long before the chief makes a decisive move.

03:03As he closes in, Chief Jennison performs a pit maneuver.

03:23And his cruiser rolling over several times.

05:32years old found the gun did yeah take a photo of it it was loaded too after searching the van
05:42officers find two guns a machete two molotov cocktails five gallons of gasoline and a lighter
05:48mercy air and johnson were charged with felony fleeing and criminal possession of explosives
05:54mercy air pled guilty to both charges and was sentenced to eight years in prison he'll be
06:00eligible for parole after serving 32 months johnson pled guilty to the explosives charge
06:06his fleeing charge was dropped he was sentenced to 10 years of probation under the condition that
06:12he would testify against mercy air in future proceedings if needed mercy air and johnson's
06:17oklahoma cases which include charges for eluding police are pending as for police chief jennison
06:24he was able to walk away from his cruiser with only minor injuries he was taken to the hospital
06:30treated and released next we're in lee county florida where state troopers are in pursuit of a suspect who
06:38fled from officers and is now driving recklessly and defiantly on local roads
06:45earlier florida highway patrol received multiple reports of a pickup truck that was swerving across
06:52lanes and driving dangerously on the shoulder of the highway it's going to be a female with a
06:57baseball cap as a driver i have a west virginia plate on one of the calls soon after trooper alexander
07:05montez de oca spotted the truck as it exited the highway
07:16after the trooper saw that the driver was failing to maintain a lane he attempted a traffic stop
07:22but the suspect sped away troopers brian petty and michael peachman join the pursuit as montez de oca prepares
07:34to attempt a pit maneuver
07:36and when he does he's greeted by the fugitive's middle finger
07:52the pit is unsuccessful but the trooper tries again
07:56after the second pit also fails the suspect cuts across this grassy medium
08:13the troopers move to box the fugitive in but before they can she drives up onto the curb
08:28and slams into this sign
08:33and loses control of her vehicle
08:35the three troopers quickly move to block the fugitive in and prevent her from escaping again
08:49the suspect still refuses to give up but when she's no longer able to move the truck
09:08she begins climbing out of the window
09:10officers quickly cuff the driver and place her in the back of trooper montez de oca's cruiser
09:24where she remains defiant

10:01beth lee's slider troopers leave slider in the back seat where she attempts but fails to get out
10:07of her cuffs then pulls a package from underneath the front seat

10:16slider was arrested transported to the lee county jail and charged with fleeing eluding law enforcement
10:30dui reckless driving and threatening law enforcement officers with death or serious bodily harm
10:49she pled no contest to all of the charges and was found guilty of fleeing eluding and dui slider was
10:56sentenced to 18 days in jail with credit for 18 days time served plus 18 months probation
11:05next we're in norco california where law enforcement from several agencies are pursuing a man who just
11:12shot a sheriff's deputy earlier deputy isaiah cordero pulled over a truck in a residential neighborhood for
11:19a code violation as he got off his motorcycle and approached the truck the driver suddenly pulled
11:24out a gun shot him and fled the scene the incident was recorded by a nearby resident's home security
11:32camera officer cordero was quickly transported to a hospital but sadly he died from his injuries
11:46the suspect was id'd from the security footage as 44 year old william shay mckay mckay already had an
11:54extensive criminal history including convictions for robbery and multiple assaults with a deadly weapon
12:01plus an active felony warrant for failing to appear on a case involving a kidnapping and the stabbing of
12:08a canine officer police put out a call to all surrounding agencies and about an hour after the shooting mckay
12:15was spotted by beaumont pd on interstate 15. before long dozens of law enforcement officers were
12:22following mckay on the freeway and from the sky continuing the freeway next act at okey second
12:28street just hit the center divider smoke coming out of the tail end here took it there for two
12:32pockets get ready to bail over that wall if he runs with mckay's vehicle seriously hobbled the riverside county
12:39insurance department seizes the moment by deploying their armored vehicle bearcat 3.
12:52bearcat 3 moves to pin the suspect's truck against the center divider as it spins out
12:57just a pit mover but somehow mckay manages to escape truck is still going south now very slow speeds through
13:05the center divider moving all the way over to the right hand side about 15 miles per hour the suspect's
13:11truck appears to be near its end and bearcat 3 is there to finish the job just two feet right under the
13:19bridge two feet under the bridge as even more law enforcement officers arrive on the scene
13:26mckay opens fire and officers quickly respond
13:45mckay is hit and the shootout comes to an end he was treated on scene and transported to a hospital
13:52but died from his injuries mckay's gun a nine millimeter semi-automatic pistol was recovered at
13:58the scene no other law enforcement personnel were injured due to the suspect's actions
14:06next we're in sanford florida where deputies from seminole and volusia counties
14:10are after a man wanted for aggravated battery and carjacking anyway visual it's a dark colored suv
14:16video earlier the volusia county sheriff's department received a call from a woman claiming she was
14:22hiding inside a convenience store after escaping a physical altercation with her ex-boyfriend who'd just
14:29taken off in her car deputies soon tracked down the suspect 29 year old john mcgallin and attempted a
14:36traffic stop but after ramming the deputy's vehicle he took off before long the seminole county aviation
14:43unit was called in and took the lead from the sky alert seminar we're on scene we have a visual
14:49as mcgallin began driving recklessly on local streets running the light at uh casa verde
14:58at the curve on country club circle and country club drive now
15:05after t-boning a civilian vehicle sending it spinning
15:08mcgallin approaches a local elementary school and this deputy makes a move yes he's working
15:15his way northbound he's coming up to 20th now stand by on dot hold the traffic guy
15:23at the intersection the deputy performs a pit maneuver and the fugitive's vehicle becomes disabled
15:31but he doesn't seem ready to give up just yet
15:34we have a bailout running eastbound on 20 south side of the road white mail
15:39bald dark shorts and no shirt seminole county lieutenant cornelius blue chases mcgallin on foot
15:48southbound over the brick wall working his way eastbound
15:56hop to second we're all just keep coming uh keep coming east as a unit that's in contact
16:04uh he's giving up he's giving up he's on the ground one unit's with him second unit's coming up
16:12plenty of units i'm seeing anyone else can slow down mcgallin is arrested and taken to the seminole
16:17county jail he was charged with carjacking battery aggravated battery on a law enforcement official
16:23false imprisonment and fleeing and eluding mcgallin pled no contest to all of the charges and was
16:29sentenced to nine years four months and nine days in prison he'll be eligible for parole after seven
16:35and a half years
16:40next we're in duluth georgia the police are in pursuit of a man on a four-wheeler
16:45who fled a traffic stop and is now driving recklessly on local roads with no plates
16:52earlier corporal carrie simmons was monitoring traffic when he says an atv which are generally
16:58prohibited from driving on public streets and highways in georgia blew past him doing 63 miles
17:04an hour in a 45 zone 181 signal lady
17:11the corporal soon catches up to the suspect who pulls up to a light in the left turn lane
17:16pib northbound as in maine it's gonna be a forward blackmail brown shirt the corporal attempts a traffic
17:25stop but after the driver looks back at him he takes off
17:33and we are now southbound pib
17:38now as corporal simmons catches up again the suspect really begins driving erratically speed's 81 miles an
17:46hour as the chase continues the atv makes a right turn
17:52almost collides with this car and then appears to be cut off by another officer dave nichols
17:58but this four-wheeling fugitive seems to have other ideas
18:02the suspect hops the curb and rides onto the sidewalk to get past officer nichols cruiser
18:10he then enters a residential neighborhood
18:13where he almost becomes trapped on a cul-de-sac
18:24but he escapes between two houses into this backyard reckless no helmet no tag attached he's now
18:32currently going on private property and just moments later there it is the suspect pulls out
18:39from behind a house and speeds up the street
18:44but as he rounds this corner
18:4841 41 the driver is not able to negotiate the turn and when he hits a curve he loses control and
18:57crashes onto this front lawn as he gets up and attempts to flee again corporal simmons springs into action
19:11officer nichols pulls up to assist
19:14hands behind your back you're under arrest as corporal simmons gets the suspect in cuffs
19:19confirmed wanting custody here slow down the suspect identified as 25 year old tyler taylor
19:25is placed in the back of a cruiser you just put yourself at risk and everyone else this is a
19:30residential area man what are you doing i was just trying to ride and look at it and i ain't
19:38taylor who was previously sentenced to a year in prison for burglary was hit with seven new charges
19:44including fleeing or attempting to elude police reckless driving speeding no insurance and no license plate
19:51he spent a year in jail before pleading guilty to six of the seven charges after one count of fleeing was
19:57dropped taylor was sentenced to one year in prison with a year's credit for time served plus five years
