00:00And it's an honor now to sign this incredible bill and get our country working again.
00:07Thank you very much.
00:08The government is reopening after the longest shutdown in U.S. history.
00:12The House voted 222 to 209 Wednesday evening to pass the funding measure.
00:19The package drew opposition from Democrats since it doesn't include their main demand
00:23and extension to the Affordable Care Act premium subsidies set to expire at the end of the year.
00:28Instead, the plan comes with a promise for a mid-December vote in the Senate on extending the tax credits,
00:35but that's not a promise it will pass or get a vote in the House,
00:38raising the prospect that health care will be the next big fight.
00:42This legislation will fund the government through January 30th
00:45and ban federal layoffs through that timeline too.
00:48It does fund some agencies like the USDA through the fiscal year,
00:52so SNAP food benefits shouldn't be at risk during the next negotiation.
00:56But fully restarting the federal government will take time.
01:00Food aid won't immediately be reinstated.
01:02And the Transportation Secretary, Sean Duffy, says he anticipates waiting a week
01:06to start lifting flight restrictions at major airports.
01:10And there are issues that may never be resolved,
01:12as visibility into the state of the economy has been clouded.
01:15And the White House suggested jobs and inflation reports for October
01:18are unlikely to ever be released.
01:20And hopefully the 개 hit the middle of the concerns from Alaska,
01:23and that will eventually reach the reduce control of the commission.
01:25So we forget that the comment that weありがとうございました is,
01:27it was quite a comparison for leadership.
01:29As the local number of directors,
01:31here really has not seemed to be ق of mind,
01:34so we could pretty good to put it.
01:36Because of them have not been a week for cutoff,
01:39which we took this holiday嬉holes to릴 up about 1,
01:41so we can access it to the initial long-term work.
01:43So we can make a consistent challenge for him to come out,
01:46so we spread them to a little bit of Facebook.
01:47So that's exactly what we have to do so far below.
