00:00A man has been dramatically arrested at Sydney airport over his alleged role in a violent home
00:10invasion and shooting last year. Detectives took the 25-year-old into custody about 12.30pm
00:26on Wednesday the 12th of November 2025 after investigating the June 2024 attack in Carnes Hill NSW.
00:45Police allege seven masked men stormed a home armed with a semi-automatic pistol,
00:51shotgun, knives, a sledgehammer, baseball bat and jerry can of petrol. A 25-year-old resident was
00:59shot in the leg after confronting the intruders before the group allegedly set fire to the
01:05property's front door and fled in two vehicles. Five men had already been charged over the incident.
01:13The man arrested on Wednesday faced multiple charges including firing a firearm likely to injure,
01:19using an offensive weapon with intent, aggravated break and enter and directing a criminal group.
