00:00Hey, this is Carly Pearce, and this is the Odyssey world premiere of my new song, Dream Come True.

00:05The creative process for Dream Come True was one of my favorite days I've ever had.

00:10I really was feeling down and feeling just that I needed to get this emotion out that

00:19so many of us, I think, feel, no matter if you're in the spotlight or the limelight or you're just

00:25chasing a dream, but when you chase a dream, it comes with a price, and it comes with sacrifices

00:31to chase that dream, and that's exactly what I wrote about, and every single line in this song

00:36is really real. I do live in a crazy. I feel like every time I've played Dream Come True for people,

00:42it resonates in a way that just felt like the essence of who I am as an artist, which is to

00:47share vulnerability and make people not feel alone, and I felt like it was a very big story

00:55to launch this new season because with this song, I returned to why I fell in love with the dream

01:02and why I had the dream, and so this is the bridge. I hope fans take away that

01:08you see us on a platform, you see our highlight reels, you see other people's highlight reels,

01:15just knowing that everybody's going through things, everybody's lives aren't as perfect

01:20and wonderful as they seem, and you're not alone in the sacrifices that you have to make

01:25to chase things.
