00:0050 years ago today, on the 10th of November 1975, a dark chapter was written in the history of this institution.

00:10The UN declared that Zionism is racism.

00:16For the Jewish people, for the State of Israel, Resolution 3,379 was not just a lie.

00:24It was a stain on this organization, a getaway to Jew hatred, one of the most twisted and morally corrupt distortions ever adopted by the UN.

00:38It would take 16 years for that lie to be repealed.

00:44On the 16th of December 1991, 111 nations voted to strike it down.

00:50It was only the second time in UN history that a resolution had ever been repealed.

00:58A triumph of truth over falsity.

01:01Yet, here we are today.

01:04Half a century later, and some in these buildings still cling to that same poisonous idea,

01:11they try to delegitimize the national movement of the Jewish people.

01:15that try to dress up hatred in the language of anti-Zionism.

01:21They ignore that Israel, the Zionist state, is a multicultural nation

01:28where non-Jewish citizens serve as ministers of the government,

01:33as members of parliament, and as justices on the Supreme Court.

01:38They ignore that Israel is home to Arabs and Muslims with the greatest freedoms, rights, and opportunities in the Middle East.

01:48They ignore that Zionism represents one of the greatest moments in Jewish history,

01:54the return of an ancient people to their homeland after 1900 years of exile.

01:59Instead, they recycle the same old libel.

02:04They replace Zionism is racism with a new slogan and pretend it is something different.

02:10It is not.

02:12Mr. President,

02:14today, anti-Zionism is racism.

02:18When you argue for national self-determination for everyone, except Jews.

02:26When you chant for the elimination of the Jews from the river to the sea,

02:32Palestine will be free.

02:33When you call Israel an apartheid genocidal state,

02:38it is you, the anti-Zionist, who is racist.
