Palestinian envoy confronts Israeli counterpart in UN meeting, says they've chosen peace

The permanent observer of the Palestinian State to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, confronted his Israeli counterpart Danny Danon during a UN Security Council meeting on Sept 29.   "We have chosen peace. There is a party that is beating the drums to move it in the direction of the West Bank, and we should succeed in not allowing them to do so,” said Mansour.  Danon said the Palestinian Authority should focus on eradicating extreme forces instead.
