00:13Four Cardiff players have been named in Bellamy's latest squad for World Cup qualifiers
00:17against Liechtenstein and North Macedonia,
00:20and he believes Barry Murphy's approach is directly benefiting his plans with Wales.
00:25The way he plays is quite similar to how we try to move, Bellamy said.
00:31I like how his back line goes up and it jumps.
00:33You've seen it many moments they are tired early, and we get that.
00:37The players coming through, Cardiff have an average of six or seven Welsh players in the team
00:42playing the way that we sort of play.
00:44We do it with little differently, but it's not too dissimilar.
00:48It benefits me selfishly, and it's a dream for me, to be honest.
00:51Bellamy has been particularly impressed by Reuben Colwell,
00:56who starred in Cardiff's recent League Cup victory over Wrexham.
01:00Colwell, often seen on the periphery of the national team,
01:03is included in the latest squad, alongside brother Joel.
01:07Bellamy also praised Dylan Lawler and Ronan Copacchio,
01:10highlighting their versatility and alignment with Wales' tactical needs.
01:14The players he has playing, especially young players coming through,
01:18like if you look at, say for instance Cardiff at the moment,
01:21they have like his average one or six, seven players Welsh in the team
01:25playing the way that we sort of play.
01:29We do it a little bit differently, but it's not too dissimilar.
01:34Only benefits me.
01:36Cardiff's strong form this season, currently third in League One
01:39and pushing for an immediate return to the Championship.
01:42This has made Bellamy visit the Cardiff City Stadium on multiple occasions.
01:47For the first time in a long, long time,
01:50I've come away from Cardiff Games with a smile.
01:53He said, I'm not a Cardiff fan, but I have an affinity because I'm from there.
01:58Last year it was difficult.
01:59The atmosphere was down.
02:01Now it's positive and it's helping everyone.
02:04Barry Murphy's work in the capital is shaping both club and country,
02:09offering a promises blueprint for the future of Welsh football.
