00:06Like, just tell me about bringing her into the process. How she kind of came in and at what point.
00:12So for that character, we knew we wanted like a kind of like kooky, fun, fictional character.
00:19Like that we could, we knew the arc of the story too. Like someone that Jordan or Charlie, Jordan's character was working for.
00:28He goes to get gossip for her and it comes back to him.

00:43I called Ayo because basically we were like, we need to, literally if we want to hang out, we have to like work together.
00:50So I was like, do you want to come do two days in the show? And then she brought all these different ideas.
00:56She was like, I want to do a mullet. I want a bedazzled vape. I want a British accent. And I was like, yes to all of it.
01:05Yeah. And then she and Jordan together just like improv'd and it was so fun and wild.

01:16No, but it's not even about being thin for me anymore. Honestly, it's about strength.

01:26Did they tell you about this beforehand? Was this part of the storyline that you knew coming in?
01:30I mean, I always knew it was a pop star. And then I think once they, once they locked in Ayo, it was like a conversation of just how to make it different, you know, for her to, to like have fun with too.
01:43And then we were like British, like everyone was just like British. That's different. And so I think, yeah, it was, I've known Ayo for a decade and, you know, we, we like wrote on Big Mouth together and we've, it's just, I mean, obviously been amazing to see her, her rise to stardom, but it's also fun to see her like really back to her like comedy, comedy roots and like play something really outlandish and over the top.
02:05And yeah, we've never even gotten to act together. So it was really, those days were so fun and exciting. And she's very intimidating as Mimi Rush.
