Forensic teams have arrived at the site of a deadly car explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort, which claimed the lives of eight people and injured dozens more.
The blast occurred in a slow-moving vehicle at a traffic signal, damaging nearby vehicles and causing widespread panic in the historic area. Delhi Police, National Investigation Agency (NIA), and National Security Guard (NSG) units have joined forensic experts to investigate the incident.
Eyewitnesses reported shattered windows, fiery wreckage, and chaos as emergency services rushed to the scene. Authorities are working to determine the cause of the explosion.
