00:00In Accra, Ghana, technology is transforming healthcare.
00:05One standout innovation is MunoChat AI, curated by MunoHealth AI Labs.
00:11This smart tool helps diagnose illnesses and analyze X-ray images,
00:17enabling doctors to prescribe treatments more accurately and efficiently.
00:23Encouraged by H-Success, the team behind MunoChat AI
00:27is hoping to create even more advanced healthcare solutions.
00:32Imagine we then get to a point where someone in the remotest village
00:38with very little access to smartphones or anything
00:42can still have an AI system that is not only when you go to the hospital,
00:48but can start collecting tiny data from you
00:51to predict what will happen 5-10 years down the line.
00:54So much more personalized medicine.
00:56Those are the different angles that we want to go to.
00:59We want to solve healthcare biology by leveraging AI
01:04and then make it accessible to everyone.
01:07But it's not just healthcare.
01:09Agriculture is also reaping the benefits of AI
01:12with tools that detect crop diseases early
01:15and guide farmers on timely interventions.
01:19In November, Accra hosted the African Education Trust Fund conference
01:23on AI, drawing tech and education leaders from across the continent.
01:29Their mission, boost AI literacy in schools and champion locally developed solutions.
01:36Experts stress that Africa must own its AI journey
01:39to safeguard its data and digital future.
01:42We are in a brave new world where machines are getting ready.
01:49The owners of the machines, those who created the machines,
01:51are getting ready to control the world.
01:54They are already controlling the world through financial instruments
01:57and through all kinds of other security devices,
02:01coding devices, which gives them power.
02:04Yes, we got involved using robotics and machine learning
02:08for Africa's benefits, for peaceful uses.
02:12Across Africa, AI is gaining ground.
02:15Young innovators are acquiring tech skills
02:18to build solutions tailored to the continent's unique needs.
02:22Experts believe Africa is already a hotbed of innovation
02:26and must keep pushing to stay globally competitive.
02:31Africa is the birthplace of AI.
02:34Most people don't realize that AI is based on algorithms,
02:41is based on fractals,
02:45is based, simply put, on mathematics.
02:48And the birthplace of mathematics is Africa.
02:51Now, so for me, if you ask me,
02:54it's so important that there will be a reenactment
02:58of what Africa has always had.
03:00And we're going to disrupt everything for the world.
