00:29time to welcome in the third member of our crew
00:31Allison Williams well Kevin I can tell you
00:33this sense of urgency and optimism
00:35high for both of these teams and a
00:37big reason why they both got their starting
00:39quarterbacks back last week for the Vikings
00:41the vibe changed with the return of
00:43J.J. McCarthy receiver Justin Jefferson
00:45said it felt different having him
00:47back he brings that dog mentality
00:49there's a fire in his eyes that
00:51we feed off and you can't say enough about the
00:53Ravens getting Lamar Jackson back
00:55Zay Flowers told me everyone knows he's
00:57the difference maker all eyes have to be on
00:59him at all times which helps every
01:01part of this offense and Lamar told
01:03us he feels great physically and mentally after that hamstring
01:07injuries and we all know starting now there is no margin for error we have to be locked
01:12in to keep winning yeah that's the theme with both of these teams especially the Ravens they said repeatedly we know we put ourselves behind the eight ball now it's just a matter of stacking wins they've stacked two can they stack another one in a very tough place to play Minnesota won the toss as they've done each time this year when they've won the toss they elect to defer and the kickoff to
01:33keep Mitchell and Justice Hill and it's Hill from the two yard line Ravens on the return with Justice Hill and Hill out across the 30 and down at the 31 yard line in the arms of Dallas Turner and out comes Lamar Jackson his 100th career start he's come back from the injury and he has been fantastic since his return to the field I just don't think he gets the credit that he deserves as a passer in this league we all think about the dynamic
02:03running ability and we see those numbers the rush numbers and the touchdowns that he scored the stress he puts on that defense but boy it's going to be fun to watch him throw the ball here at this afternoon kind of work through this very challenging defense that Brian Flores will put out there
02:17on first down almost intercepted the ball gets thrown there into the backfield it's incomplete Jonathan Grenard jumping all over that he wanted to stand up and throw the quick screen and nothing doing one of the things that you're going to have to be careful about with this defense on these quick screens are both edges this is Jonathan Grenard Andrew Van
02:43Ginkle on the other side very very good we saw him with two interceptions last season that goes right through the arms of Jonathan Grenard but they are dynamic players on the edges

02:57Keaton Mitchell motioning out of the backfield Lamar Jackson will keep and trying to find some room up the middle to the 34 Blake Cashman
03:07on the stop and opening in this noise is going to be a real focus for these Ravens all day today tough place to play it really is it's one of the more challenging environments that you'll face as a as a visiting team it's going to impact what they can do at the line of scrimmage when they play in Baltimore they're going to be able to get out of a bad play change of protection take something that may not have worked and find the play that will attack that defense they're not going to be able to do that this afternoon

03:44four man rush it's likely with the catch short of the first down at the thirty nine two yards shy thanks to number two isaiah rogers fourth down and a three and out
03:59well you can't ask for anything better when when you go against this offense of the Baltimore Ravens when you have Lamar Jackson and you have Derek Henry you have his eight flowers that tight end group is outstanding as well that's a lot of firepower offensively great confidence builder for that Vikings defense we talk about the quarterbacks and the offenses rounding out and getting healthy I think you can say the same for both of these defense well they had allowed an opening drive touchdown in three straight games but the Ravens go three and out miles price
04:29ranging to his left picks it up on the bounce of the 10-yard line price trying to find a little space and he nudges the football near the 15 Malachi Starks on the tackle and out comes JJ McCarthy first quarterback with two plus passing touchdowns and one rush touchdown or more in two of his first three starts but as you talked about at the top of the broadcast two good quarters ten kind of bad quarters so far
04:58right yeah you know listen he's building his catalog this is only his fourth game in the NFL and that's been another issue is the health and when you're not healthy and you can't be in the lineup you don't have that opportunity to experience things from the quarterback position Draymond Jones just acquired this week at the trade deadline starts for the Ravens
05:21McCarthy batted at the line by Kyle Hamilton and Kyle Hamilton is going to be in all kinds of different places on the field defensively today yeah I mean you just got to find him you know he's amazing we hear that phrase chess pieces and Kyle Hamilton is one of those guys that is the chess piece and he's going to move all over the place he'll be up on the edge one of the things that I thought was impressive when we talked to defensive coordinator
05:51and that's asking a lot of the safety but that's the skill set that he has
05:54second down at 10 at the 14 is Aaron Jones and Jones budging his way out near the 19 yard line Travis Jones on the tackle and for this Vikings offense up front they're finally getting healthy
06:10yeah six different combinations of their starting five but not the one that they have as their true starting five yet this season and that's been a challenge and right there Aaron Jones Aaron Jones has to be a part of this game he's one of those guys when he's not involved the energy is not the same on the offensive side of the ball six defensive backs on third down
06:32McCarthy with pressure in his face finds Justin Jefferson at a first down boy J.J. McCarthy standing in with the Kyle Hamilton rush and he finds Jefferson for 10
06:48this is outstanding by J.J. McCarthy here he is right here watch this he's going to stand in the pocket watch
06:54doesn't flinch knows he's going to take the hit and you know what let's flip it to the other side great job by Kyle
06:59Hamilton don't do anything silly it's going to get an extra 15 yards tacked onto that this is a good play on both sides of the ball
07:06double tights on first down Addison in motion and the handoff is to Jones not much there Travis Jones again on the tackle
07:20and this Baltimore defense they're hoping to ratchet up the pressure it's been a problem all year long one of the reasons why they went out and got
07:27Draymond Jones yeah when you think about Ravens defense you think about pressure and chaos and stress and all those things that has not been the case
07:34the second few is sacks during the course of the season up until this point only ahead of Jacksonville bringing Draymond Jones into this
07:41team he's playing his best football over the last four games four and a half sacks so that infusion of talent to
07:48kind of rush you know rush that quarterback hopefully is going to come from Draymond Jones this afternoon
07:55steps away from pressure finds Jones on the sideline and out of bounds at the 33 yard line when you talk
08:01about Draymond Jones we were talking with John Harbaugh and he said you know the interesting thing is he's
08:05been in the system for two years now so when he got here there was really no transition in terms of
08:11terminology which is why we saw him start this game today he was able to fit right in yeah former
08:16Ravens defensive coaches in Seattle in Tennessee where he spent the last two seasons so he's going
08:21to be able to hit the ground running here this afternoon
08:29he's lined up inside now he'll rush inside he'll rush on the edge McCarthy on third down floating it up for
08:35Naylor and he drops a dime Naylor with a move and a stiff arm still on his feet another stiff arm and
08:42down inside the five Alohi Gilman saves a touchdown but Jordan Addison or rather Jalen Naylor on a beautiful
08:50throw from McCarthy goes 61 yards and really what the best thing about this opening drive has been for
08:57JJ McCarthy he has taken what the defense has given him and now you got to play dialed up what did we say at
09:02the top trust the play trust the plan be patient at the start of the game we're going to create an
09:07opportunity for you to get downfield at some point and when we do take advantage of that that was an
09:13outstanding throw by JJ McCarthy and and that's the one thing that I think we lose in this whole
09:19inconsistency conversation is he has the ability to make all the big throws out there he's just got
09:25to do it more often longest pass allowed by Baltimore this season as the Vikings take their first time out

11:56tavier thomas with the tackle and here comes lamar jackson you see the numbers this season
12:01we were talking with vikings coach kevin o'connell and he said his first time with
12:05lamar he's never coached against him said my first time was on a field at the combine he threw at the
12:10combine he said lamar was devastated he didn't throw it well and they wanted him to work out as a
12:15receiver and he said i told him that he was the only one who could decide what he was going to be at the
12:22next level he had the whisperer skills even back at that time so many years ago kevin o'connell is
12:28just unique in how he prepares quarterbacks to play eric henry up the middle across the 35 it was
12:35interesting and then he just went on and said look that guy's got a warrior spirit show me a more
12:39competitive guy in this league than lamar jackson great technique great fundamentals but he said he
12:43built himself into what he's become and he said those are the kind of guys that keep you up at night
12:48and that's the guy right when he goes to the combine everybody knows what he can do with the
12:53football in his hand as a runner but everybody wanted to see him throw it and to not perform to
12:57the level that you had hoped and to be able to put that behind you and then just kind of
13:02embrace and lean into i am going to make myself become a really really good passer of the football
13:10it's the draw to henry powers into jalen redmond and down at the 38 now brings up a third and four
13:17remember baltimore went three and out on their first possession and a big third four coming up
13:22here to try to keep this offense on field yeah and one of these kind of weird things that you come
13:26across they're actually better the further the distance is on third down and probably even with
13:31him being out of the lineup i'm sure that lamar jackson has influenced that but you get out the third
13:36and ten plus they're the best in the nfl but when you get into the short and the mediums they're either
13:41last or middle of the pack
13:46with zay flowers in motion finding mark andrews is lamar jackson and that's a pretty good ticket
13:52to get a first down out to the 44 where harrison smith and jay ward combine on the stop
13:58yeah i mean you've got to find a way to get him covered up these guys have a chemistry that has existed
14:04going all the way back to the draft years when they came in together and and that that's just hard to
14:09defend and and you wonder why how can they be struggling on the third and four plus up to
14:13third and nine and and when you've got a guy like mark andrews and somebody like lamar jackson
14:18who get that ball out quick they should be much more successful
14:22after picard the fullback lining up in front of henry off play action over the middle good catch
14:28sliding down that ball tried to sneak out the back door on zay flowers but he hangs on for 16.
14:33yeah just a really nice job by zay flowers here on the outside watch him let the ball go by and kind of
14:41pulls it back just a great job getting down low and again you look at these throws look at the safety
14:48coming in right there you see harrison smith coming in that ball is in that position because lamar jackson
14:53is protecting zay flowers so he doesn't take that big hit vikings with the seven nothing lead but the
14:59ravens now on the move inside the minnesota 40. here's henry to the left cashman there along with
15:07jalen redmond to bring him down and lamar jackson last week when you look at him moves i know you
15:14were impressed with how he worked the pocket yeah i just think we all know how he moves throughout the
15:17pocket but look at the ball security two hands on the ball all the time and then the release once he
15:22decides to make that throw how quickly he transitions from the the really good ball security in the pocket
15:29to making that throw and even right there on the move as he climbs up that pocket it's not just his
15:34scrambling ability when he's scrambling he's surveying the field he wants to get that ball thrown down the
15:39field
15:42second and nine jackson with touch over the defender to deandre hopkins you cannot put better touch on a
15:50ball than you saw from lamar jackson all right you look at this from our level right now you're like uh-oh
15:56that guy's gonna undercut it look at this right over the top that is so good it is so good he is such
16:03a good passer of the football it's like he knew byron murphy was 5 11 and he said i need this it's about
16:106 2 to get over his outstretched arm 32
16:19it's henry looking for the short yardage first down and he's got it inside the 30
16:25to the 29 yard line and the mechanics of lamar jackson allison are something impressive aren't
16:31they yeah and the ravens feel like there's nobody in the league that is better mechanically throwing the
16:36football and it's something they measure in their indoor facility they have a series of cameras and
16:40a chip in the football and it breaks down everything from velocity miles per hour and a skeletal measurement
16:46of how they're throwing i talked to quarterback coach t martin he said we use it every day and with
16:51lamar we saw big improvements in his mechanics last year and then this year it's just all about keeping
16:56that consistency well he's been not healthy that's been the biggest problem for for lamar but when
17:02he's out there this year he's been as good as anybody in the game and brian flores said look this
17:07guy is a future hall of famer he's going to wear the gold jacket someday it's just a matter of when
17:13he gets to that spot he could not say enough good things about him no and you know that he loves going
17:18up against a guy like lamar jackson that poses the threats that he does as a quarterback and then
17:24the thing that you forget about is just how much he impacts the running game as well derrick henry
17:29on that last carry now justice hill in the lineup he really puts a ton of stress on your defense
17:36second and seven jackson over the middle and andrews had to tear him off his hands incomplete
17:43a little bit high and wide and andrews just can't quite pull it in
17:48i i'm really surprised on this one that this is not complete it's going to be a hard catch
17:55by mark andrews uh but again we talked about kyle hamilton being smart there's josh metellis
18:02being smart and not doing something that's going to give them
18:05a 15-yard penalty in a first down leave them here in a third and long to have to convert third and seven
18:11so tough in this noise
18:21jackson slings over the middle deflected and incomplete
18:25it's gone off the hands of two tight ends on the last two plays this isaiah likely
18:29and on fourth down the field goal unit coming on for baltimore
18:34yeah and they uh they had the the game last week there's isaiah likely on the inside just kind of
18:39finding that soft spot and yeah i mean that that's you know are you are you sneaking a peek downfield
18:44to see where you're going did you not look that one all the way in but that's a perfect that's a
18:48perfect delivery by lamar jackson so the field goal try for the rookie tyler luke
18:5612 of 13 in his first stick in the nfl this from 44
19:03and luke sneaks it in to give the ravens their first points of the afternoon

20:13this was pre-game vikings run out aaron jones has the flag mom is here he didn't know mom was going to
20:21be at the end of the run out big hug and just a moment ago the salute service they honored mom during
20:27the break and aaron came running over to say hello and now aaron jones senior back to work on the ground
20:34to the 32 yard line so it means so much to aaron and this was the big double kiss blow from aaron jones
20:45senior just a just a tremendous tremendous story and by the way if you want to know more about

21:07jones loved reading it this week and kudos to you tyler for a great story as jones is dropped to the
21:12backfield mike green the rookie from marshall knifing in and throwing him for a five yard loss
21:19on the play yeah it's going to come right here from the outside ryan o'neill just kind of gets a little
21:25bit wide on that that first step and he's able to to get back inside you have those defensive stunts
21:31and you're moving to the right right you're going to run an outside zone and all of a sudden they've got
21:34an inside move in that defensive line and you're right into the backfield vikings are two for two on
21:40third down but this is third and 12. they set it up for jefferson with blockers in front now he'll
21:45throw it back the other way to mccarthy and mccarthy will run breaks one tackle breaks a second and
21:51short of the first down by two yards van nooy had a shot at him he slipped through that trenton
21:58simpson had a shot he slipped through that but eventually kyle hamilton got him down well i i don't
22:03know what i'm more impressed with i think it's probably the justin jefferson throw back that's a great
22:08sell and look at this throw all the way back across the field behind right he's going back
22:14and just a tremendous job you wonder why that was it's credit the ravens defense right i mean
22:19you're thinking when that ball gets to jj mccarthy on that side of the field with some blockers out
22:24front this is going to be an explosive play so great hustle by that defense and a three and out
22:29is the result kyle hamilton no surprise kyle hamilton was the guy who found himself on the other end of
22:34the field to make that play brian wright to pump this one away lejante wester waves for the fair
22:41catch and has it at the 15. and after that play mccarthy alohi gilman come on come on not today
22:52us bank stadium there were some snow flurries outside a little bit of snow as we've gotten to
23:03that time of year mary johnston allison williams on the sideline mike perrero with us in our replay
23:07center i'm kevin googler at us bank stadium in minneapolis ravens down seven three with the ball
23:14off their own 15 yard line and on first down the handoff is to derrick henry who fights to the 19
23:21yard line and it's second down this was a game that bruce was so excited about this week i mean we
23:26we couldn't get him to stop talking he'd call every day go i just want everybody to remember there are
23:30two fullbacks in this game and they play regularly cj ham and patrick mccarthy for the ravens two of the
23:3611 teams left that still regularly use that position doesn't happen very often when we've got one on each
23:41side so it's going to be fun today to get to see how they use the fullback position in today's nfl game
23:46you get to see him move all over patrick ricard one of the more versatile guys is that size i mean i
23:50can't believe how big he is i spent time on the defensive side of the ball in his nfl career as well
23:57and some movement up front
24:01that's going to cost five
24:04false start by the offense number 72 five-yard penalty the second down well we've got the snow flurries
24:11inside here but carissa it looks like there might be some weather in chicago for the bears and the
24:15giants yes kevin but it's not affecting them the bears have won five of their last six taking on the
24:19giants here and kyle monunga pushes his way in from eight yards out bears leading this one seven
24:24nothing over the giants in those flurries of snow kevin it may not be affecting them but i'm guessing
24:31pam oliver's not thrilled being on the sidelines in that cold and snow
24:37second and eleven after the penalty they set up the screen and immediately tackled what a play by
24:44jonathan allen he sniffed out that screen to derrick henry beautifully and it brings up third and long
24:51yeah sometimes it's just hard for a guy to kind of get
24:55you know upfield in the pass rush and you kind of get pulled right into the play
24:59and he's just kind of drifting across the line and daniel faalele you know can't kind of get in
25:05between he's got to kind of work to get to his inside so he doesn't allow jonathan allen to slide into
25:09that screen path
25:23third down and long to the sideline for andrews and out of bounds at the 19 metellus with the tackle
25:30but andrews couldn't turn it up field and the ravens will bring the punt team on they don't have to
25:36punt it before the end of this first quarter
25:46and they are not going to punt it before the end of the quarter well we're sad to report on the
25:50passing of former nfl commissioner paul taglievu decades with the league commissioner from 1989
25:57until september 1st of 2006 moose i know he was your commissioner the entire time you played yeah my
26:02entire career did a great job in building the nfl after pete rosell and turning it over to roger
26:08goodell now so sad day for everybody that's involved with the nfl lieutenant colonel steve stone cold

26:21good you wonder steve gave himself his nickname or if he was because of the great success of stone cold
26:31steve austin in the world of wrestling if he was able to just adopt that of course 30 years ago he'd have
26:37been the six million dollar man steve austin
26:39second three and out as we start this second quarter
26:45with a punt jordan stout who leads the nfl in net punting average will boot this one away 52 yards on
26:53his first punt miles price will let this one bounce and it'll go out of bounds near the 43 yard line
26:59so j.j mccarthy going back to work and it's been feast or famine daryl you talked about this to start
27:07the show fourth quarter in week one first quarter last week the numbers are outstanding calm seas on
27:13that viking ship but some crashing waves the other 10 quarters now where do we characterize quarter one
27:21of this game is he on the calm seas or is he on the crashing waves uh it's too early to tell right
27:27now i i'm very impressed with how he came out i love that opening drive because he was taking what the
27:31defense was giving him which is one of those things that kevin o'connell and the staff have
27:35been preaching to him but then you got to see how well he can throw the deep ball with the connection
27:40to jaylen naylor checking deep again nobody opened that ball tipped at the line and it's incomplete
27:50travis jones i think got a piece of that one and it'll bring up second down
27:55well that first drive that you talk about for the vikings and that long maul ended the drive but he
28:04found jefferson early and then the long pass to jaylen naylor and doesn't get any better than that
28:10i mean standing in and taking the hit from kyle hamilton and then dropping a a deep shot right into
28:15the right spot for jaylen naylor i mean it was an excellent opening series but we've seen that from j.j
28:20mccarthy this year first quarter fourth quarter on the road in division rivals but can we do it for
28:26four the screen to jones to the edge and roquan smith chasing him out near the 49 yard line well you
28:34see the face paint we saw behind the curtain allison the reveal of nine yeah j.j mccarthy's alter ego
28:43he's calling nine and it's it's a far deviation from the guy at michigan that would draw a smiley face
28:48on his wrist before games but he said he wants to tap into the anger and frustration of missing so much
28:53time with injury he said the part of me was always there but now i used to fuel i use it to fuel me
28:58more very different than who we see pre-game with the meditation and the visualization when he takes
29:03the field now it is his alter ego fueled by that anger nine and you see it represented in the face paint
29:11on third and five mccarthy a little comp a throw over the middle and he zips it in to jaylen naylor and
29:17that's a first down to the 33 of baltimore he picks up 18 before malachi starch can bring him down
29:27and you're just you know kind of waiting for the opportunity to get it to justin jefferson you're
29:32going to see him check you got a lot of coverage that way comes back stays poised again in the pocket
29:37watch the pressure you know here comes travis jones he's right there he's kind of collapsing things
29:42inside but he stays in there and again that that is the most important part as a young quarterback
29:48you know are you really in in danger is there a threat or is it just getting a little bit
29:52uncomfortable we've seen him twice today kind of hang in there and make some really nice throws
29:57toss play jordan mason and all kinds of traffic around mason he'll lose yardage
30:02teddy buchanan the first there and we were talking with jj about this nine this alter ego and
30:08he said one of the things my mentor michigan greg hart who passed away in september of last year
30:13he said you have to disassociate that nice guy and this other side of you so you can make the switch
30:19that all you care about is winning the game it's hard this is a very challenging game and the guys that
30:25can do that we always laugh it's like what is there a switch on the back you know you pull the helmet on
30:29and the switch goes on and when you take the helmet off you flip the switch off i mean it's amazing to
30:33meet some of these guys off the field but then watch what they do on the field here's mccarthy in some
30:39trouble he'll tuck it and run decisive to pull it down and move it forward to the 31 yard line mike green
30:46and roquan smith there after the three yard run up the middle and again just kind of watch him work
30:51through everything this has been another really good start when you talk about the progression you can
30:55see he was on to three when he wanted to throw the little swing pass out to the right but felt the
31:00defender was too close there so then you just pull it down and as kevin said that that quick decision
31:05young quarterbacks that want to rely on their legs a little bit more maybe you know if you can make
31:10those decisions quickly they're going to be much more beneficial for you already three for four today on
31:16third down this is third and eight and we've got a flag down and some movement up front likely going to
31:22make it third and 13. before the snap full start by the center it's a five-yard penalty it's third down
31:30blake brandle and that's that position that we talked about in the offensive line that
31:34has never had their preferred starting five together because ryan kelly's been on the ir
31:38with a concussion they've had three guys take over a hundred snaps at center this season that's a big
31:44number for each of those three guys to have at the biggest position on the offensive line yeah i agree you
31:50you know it used to be an undervalued position but the way the game has kind of evolutionized here
31:55recently over the last few years that that center position has become more important because you're
31:59putting more on his plate and taking a little bit off the quarterback and when you talk about a young
32:03quarterback like j.j mccarthy if he could have that consistency at the center position it would help
32:08here's jefferson looking for a block and cannot get away from the rookie malachi starts that is an outstanding

34:53watch the escapability of lamar jackson is something that has been a hallmark of his career
35:01but that ball security again we showed that little clip from last week and it's just
35:05it's one of the things that he's developed and sometimes we have younger quarterbacks
35:09or the mobile quarterbacks get careless and it's something that he's made sure he's not doing
35:14henry trying to get skinny in the hole there which is hard when you're 252 pounds and he's
35:19out to the 35 yard line five to go for the first on third down how about this this vikings defense
35:29we focused on the quarterbacks coming into this game and them both getting healthy and getting back
35:35on the field but you know these injuries have hit both of these teams
35:39very hard and we've had a number of players out on both defensive sides of the ball for the ravens for
35:44the vikings this vikings defense andrew van gingkel one of the key losses uh when he's back
35:49this is just a different defense
35:53now they're showing pressure doesn't always mean that pressure's coming but it is this time
35:58jackson's pass deflected by van gingkel at the line and it's incomplete you speak of andrew van
36:05gingkel and he makes the big play on third down to force the punt team on and i think the one thing
36:10that everybody talked about when we discussed the defense and getting people back was was just how
36:15smart he is and you can see right there he's not going to get past roger rosengarten to get to the
36:20quarterback so you separate you elevate you tip a pass that was very close to being intercepted

41:32just because you've broken contain and are scrambling up in the pocket does it automatically
41:36mean you can go down the field on an explosive play the first mistake

42:19there's really nowhere for jj mccarthy to go with the football but but what you're going to see
42:25is the potential for the running lane to be open so all these routes are starting to develop but you
42:30can see that there's pretty tight coverage there we're going to clear we're going to step up now
42:36nothing really changed that picture didn't really change from when you put your back foot in the ground
42:40to when you climbed in that pocket there was some space there and we've seen how athletic he is
42:44sometimes you wonder if you over coach somebody and you just hey you know we there's always going
42:48to be a spot for you to go with the football there wasn't there make that decision pull it
42:52down and get some positive yards and they ruled him touched down by contact after the pick which
42:56is why the ravens are back on this end of the field as lamar jackson scrambles for a first down to
43:01the 33-yard line and here we go here's the flip side of it right i mean this is probably going to look
43:07very very similar to that last play drop back back foot hits the ground nowhere to go a little bit
43:12of progression climb the pocket and just get some positive yards get that first down so those are
43:18things again we talked about jj mccarthy he has to play this game and experience certain things so he
43:24can be coached by kevin o'connell and the rest of that staff and and this is just going to be a process
43:30and i know we don't like to hear that word but it is going to be a process that jj mccarthy goes
43:35through jackson gonna scramble again and down he goes jalen redmond with a flag down in the secondary

44:45post-snap transition and you know it's kind of one of those areas where you're trying to find that
44:50soft spot in the zone and you're reading it one way the quarterback seeing it a different way and
44:55that's something that brian flores will do to you because he brings everybody up to the line of scrimmage
44:59to threaten you with the blitz gives you a little bit of that bluff and everybody drops out into zone drops
45:07and we're on second and ten with a stiff arm gets past harrison smith and the king of the stiff arm
45:22delivers another for a first down for baltimore
45:25i i tell you somebody this big should not be able to be this fast and and one of the things that i've
45:34kind of seen a little bit here you know during the course of the season is we everybody always says hey
45:39you can't let derrick henry get downhill on you well you know now you're seeing this really good lateral
45:44slide that he's had here over the last couple of games and and very impressive when everything is blocked
45:50up in the middle and you're not letting him get downhill he's getting to the outside and then
45:54getting downhill on first down keaton mitchell spry to the outside and he's got a first down
46:02or close to it did he step out we're gonna wait and see on the spot but he's very close to the first down
46:08he got he lost the ball as he got to the sideline kevin watch this one i i think it's gonna be
46:13interesting to see where the ball goes out of bounds because he's moving so fast that
46:17you know whoosh i thought the ball came out yeah there it is that goes straight out nine yards away
46:24from the original starting spot so a pickup of nine as the ball squirts out
46:29as he goes out of bounds so does the ball
46:40first down and more keaton mitchell into the secondary and down inside the 20.
46:47rogers and smith after the 22-yard run for keaton mitchell oh here we go you ready kevin it's all
46:55because of the fullback right here patrick ricard and we're just going to come up there and we're
46:58going to get a nice little block right there and just follow 42 that's all you got to do and look
47:03we got a nice little lane right through there just clear as a bell it's so simple only 11 teams will the
47:09fullback watch that play other teams yeah there's 21 other teams that could be doing that exact same
47:15thing and getting that kind of yardage guaranteed every play
