Check out this shocking moment water begins pouring through the walls of a New York apartment during a heavy storm.
Kendall Hoyt, 27, a content creator and freelance media manager from Hopkinton, Massachusetts, USA, filmed the scene on inside her Brooklyn apartment.
She recorded the footage to show her building superintendent as water streamed down the walls, making it look like it was raining indoors.
Kendall said: “I couldn’t believe it was happening. I was stunned, scared and unsure of what to do.”
Despite the chaos, Kendall added that she still loves New York and believes old infrastructure sometimes leads to unexpected issues.
One user commented: ‘Mold pouring into the house omg.’
Another added: ‘New Yorkers be like “well it’s a rent stabilized apartment though”.’
