00:00In response to the damage caused by Uwan, several assistance programs are already set for distribution for farmers and fisher folk to recover from the effects of Typhoon Uwan.
00:11This includes 379.31 million pesos worth of farm inputs for rice, corn, and high-value crops.
00:19Animal feeds and supplements worth 1.24 million pesos will also be distributed.
00:24And tilapia and bangus fingerlings worth 771.62 thousand pesos.
00:30There are also 2.57 million bags of NFA rice stocks that will be distributed through local governments and relief agencies.
00:39And quick response funds for recovery and rehabilitation.
00:43Farmers and fishermen can also avail of the survival and recovery loan program of up to 25 thousand pesos payable in three years at zero interest.
00:53And insurance from Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation, the Department of Agriculture continues to assess the total damage of Typhoon Uwan's ravage to the agricultural sector.
