00:00The Farmers and Fishermen's Congress in Batanes was held by a large number of people.

00:06Aside from the amount of products sold, the prices of goods were also falling.

00:16For me, it's a big thing that the prices of rice are falling.

00:20First of all, the rice prices here in Batanes are high.

00:24It's really hurting the prices.

00:27Gina is one of the many people who rallied to the President to buy 29 pesos worth of NFA rice here in Basco, Batanes.

00:36And because of the falling prices, it was accompanied by residents to save on their expenses.

00:42Aside from NFA rice, people also did not hesitate because of the cheap price of vegetables and fruits.

00:48This is part of the Farmers and Fishermen's Congress of the Provincial Government of Batanes

00:53to help farmers and fishermen to buy cheap products from the residents here.

01:01This is the venue where they will sell their products.

01:06And this is where they will show and distribute to our residents the results of their harvest.

01:15And to our consumers, they can buy cheaper and better quality vegetables and other agricultural products.

01:23Aside from the discussion for the development of life,

01:26some government agencies also came here to bring their services closer,

01:31such as the Agricenso of the Land Bank of the Philippines.

01:34Meanwhile, the Provincial Government gave rice to farmers and fishermen who are participating in the activity.

01:41The rice was distributed from the fund given by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in Lalawigan

01:47after the last year's typhoon.
