This is the incredible moment an elephant pushed a jeep stuck in mud.
Guides from Adventures with Elephants in South Africa had taken their guests to watch elephants bathing on September 29 when their vehicle became stuck.
Amazing footage captured the moment one of the gentle giants Chova was called into action hoping to use his impressive power to rescue them.
After just a few seconds, the 35-year-old elephant pushed the Land Rover free of the muddy soil to much celebration.
Sean Hessman, from Adventures with Elephants, said: "Chova didn’t use his tusks to push the vehicles, he used the bridge of his trunk so there was no damage to elephant or vehicle.
"I just laughed at the relationship that the carer’s have with the elephants, that they can mess around like this and there’s a bit of an understanding between them.
"We come from different species yet there’s a connection and things like this can take place, isn’t that just amazing??
"Chova is a really kind elephant. He is also inquisitive so I guess as there was all the commotion around the Land Rover he wondered what was going on so came over to inspect.
"The Land Rover is an old vehicle and has issues with its starter motor so sometimes the Land Rover need a push start to get it going.
"When they tried to push start the Land Rover they inadvertently pushed it into some muddy soil near the dams edge. This made it almost impossible for the team to push the Land Rover out of the mud as their feet kept slipping.
"Chova, was nearby and approached the team trying to push the vehicles out, so his carers called him to come 'push' which he did with great success.
"He was handsomely rewarded for his efforts with game pellets, which he loves."
