In the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, Palestinians describe life as increasingly unbearable amid soaring prices, scarce food supplies, and damaged infrastructure. Months of conflict and a prolonged blockade have left families struggling to afford even basic necessities — from bread and clean water to fuel and medicine. Residents say prices have skyrocketed, while jobs and public services have vanished.

Parents speak of skipping meals to feed their children, traders describe empty shelves, and hospitals warn of shortages in essential drugs. Many say survival has become a daily challenge. “Everything is expensive, and there’s nothing left to buy,” one resident laments.
