00:00Today, we reflect on a verse from the Book of Allah.

00:04Allah the Exalted says in Surah As-Shaar,

00:07Indeed with hardship comes ease.

00:09Indeed with hardship comes ease.

00:11This verse, subhanallah, carries within it an extraordinary sense of reassurance.

00:17Allah the Exalted does not say that ease will come after hardship,

00:21but rather with hardship comes ease.

00:23Allah the Exalted has placed ease within every hardship.

00:26But we need to be patient, to be certain, and to seek from Allah the Exalted,

00:32the removal of hardship so that ease may appear.

00:35Interestingly, Allah Almighty said,

00:37Indeed with the hardship, using al, the definite article,

00:41for the first hardship and ease in an indefinite form,

00:44with the first hardship comes another ease.

00:46For this reason, the scholars said, and it is mentioned in a hadith,

00:49that one hardship cannot overcome two eases.

00:53Allah grants you with every hardship two eases.

00:55But you need to trust in Allah in order to see this ease.
