00:00It's been nearly 12 weeks on the block.
00:04We have cried.
00:07We have celebrated.
00:10We have felt every emotion.
00:13I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
00:16That's what the block's about.
00:17And it all comes down to this week.
00:19Final week of the block.
00:20Front yard and front facade week.
00:22It's the week to win.
00:24Tonight.
00:24Cheers.
00:25Let's get to work.
00:26The house two's front facade is growing nowhere fast.
00:30House two's done nothing all day.
00:32That's our landscape.
00:33One rock.
00:34Nothing's happening.
00:35Why is nothing happening?
00:36What is the plan?
00:38I'm getting worried now.
00:39The only thing growing at house five is the landscaper's bill.
00:44We don't have the money.
00:45Robbie and Matt, they're going to have to pull the rabbit out of a hat here.
00:47I need to pay my guys.
00:49And a front facade faux pas shocks the block.
00:53That's awful.
00:54Is it real?
00:54Looks good.
00:55But what were you really thinking?
00:57It's f***ing terrible.
00:58That has just knocked them out of the competition.

01:26Monday morning, it's foggy as hell.
01:32It's two degrees.
01:33Did you say Monday morning?
01:35Tuesday morning.
01:36It's foggy as hell.
01:38I've got a bit of block brain.
01:39I've got a bit of block brain.
01:42You say block brain?
01:43I had a bit of block brain.
01:44You did.
01:45You did.
01:46I feel like you've had a lot of that.
01:48Wow.
01:49Even week one.
01:50Whoa.
01:51To confirm, it's Tuesday morning on the final week of the block.
01:55One day.
01:56One day.
01:57One day.
01:58One day.
01:59Our teams have just six days till they reveal their front facade, the final element to completing
02:04their homes.
02:05One day.
02:06One day.
02:07One day.
02:08One day.
02:09One day.
02:10One day.
02:11Each team has also been presented with a list of issues inside their homes that have to
02:16be rectified.
02:17One day.
02:18We need to get 237 defects done by Sunday.
02:21Yep.
02:22As well as a front yard.
02:23When did you become a comedian, Dad?
02:28You're so funny.
02:30The couple with the most defects aren't even on site this morning as they were treated to
02:36their first getaway of the season.
02:39Party, run!
02:43To celebrate Alicia turning years old.
02:48Yeah, last night we stayed in here at the Royal at Zalesford.
02:52The publican put us up when he heard it was Alicia's birthday.
02:55So, just let her have a bit of a sleep in and come back to pick her up.
02:59Let's go.
03:00Next.
03:01I'm not missing the house.
03:03That's what I said.
03:04Need the key.
03:05We tried to get a lot.
03:06Yeah, so we got chumps to get away.
03:08It was great.
03:09Bed was so comfy.
03:10Did you have a heated blanket on?
03:12I was by no way heated up.
03:15I was.
03:16Woke up on fire.
03:17My first shower in 83 days.
03:20He's had a shower.
03:21First proper shower.
03:22Yes.
03:23Yeah.
03:24First non-caravan shower.
03:26Yes, thank you.
03:27I washed my hair and everything.
03:28Oh, so good.
03:30That was 100% the reset that we needed.
03:32We're back.
03:33Back on site today.
03:34We're going to have some fun.
03:36We're going to laugh.
03:37And we're going to win this week.
03:39What a week for house four to potentially bag their first room win of the season.
03:44What's up for grabs this week?
03:46Well, I'll tell you what's up for grabs.
03:49Um, if we're going to do this again, let's get the handsome fella back.
03:53We have two MGs.
03:55One MG.
03:56Here you go.
03:57MGU that will sit in the driveway and get sold with the house auction day.
04:00One MG's coming home with us.
04:01And $50,000 off your reserve for money.
04:03Huge price.
04:04That's the biggest win.
04:05You've got to be going hard this week to win this because that can be the difference
04:10between winning and blocking.
04:11Okay.
04:12Okay.
04:13Here we go.
04:14Alright, let's move on from taking the piss out of a national treasure.
04:19And check in with house two.
04:21Or as the girls want their home to be known as, Flo Estate.
04:25So tell me about, um, the term Flo Estate.
04:30Yeah, so Flo Estate, um, is a play on the words Flo Estate.
04:35We've got lots of curves and rounded skylights and features.
04:40We want the inside and the outside to have that flow.
04:43We want you to like enter the home and feel enveloped that you're on a journey
04:47and that things are moving calmly.
04:50But staying calm.
04:52Can you just stop getting up me because I'm going to lose it in a minute.
04:55Has been in short supply for the girls this week.
04:57So much so that their builder Shan stepped in with a solution to bring back some Flo Estate.
05:03You go get the paint.
05:04You go organize the list, please.
05:06Hannah stays outside.
05:07Can stays inside.
05:09And no bickering this week.
05:11And the hope is this new sense of house two, harmony and flow,
05:16will extend into their front facade design.
05:18This week we're continuing our theme with Christian Jenkins,
05:22who's doing a Japanese inspired landscape.
05:24Japanese.
05:25We've been to some Airbnbs with Japanese gardens and we just feel like they're very zen.
05:31A big focus on curves, a big focus on tranquility.
05:35We always want to do a point of difference, but feeling particularly inspired by Japan.
05:39Hey, stop there.
05:42Just because it's Japanese themed, we're not using a questionably tasteless headline like this.
05:49Or music like this.
05:51Or this sound effect.
05:55We're better than that.
05:58And so are the girls, who surely won't go down the cliché route.
06:02I get random spurts of creativity and I just thought, wouldn't it be cool if we had a big Tory gate above the driveway as a statement.
06:19Do you think it's cultural appropriation?
06:21What?
06:22Tory gates.
06:23Who's Tory gates?
06:25The judges' feedback last week was the Tory gates were a little bit hidden.
06:32So Han decided to stick a really big one somewhere really obvious.
06:36As well as their Tory gate, their front yard features a relaxing zen garden, a decorative rock sculpture house and timber armour.
06:46Front facade is a first impression of a home.
06:52What sets the tone for the rest of the house?
06:55What better than a three metre Japanese inspired Tory gate over our driveway?
07:00It's bigger than three metres.
07:05Last week we came out on the bottom, but this week we're coming back with a fury and a vengeance.
07:10And we're going to pull it off.
07:12Over at House Five, there's a question mark over whether they'll even finish this week.
07:28As the budget battles between them and their landscaper continue.
07:31We had told him from day one, our budget for the landscaping in total was $70,000.
07:42To do the job of front yard and backyard.
07:44This is it.
07:45The budget the boys allocated was to cover the likes of a flowing garden.
07:50A beautiful water feature and meandering Tuscan sand paths.
07:55But yesterday their landscaper, Paul, informed them of an additional unforeseen cost on top of their $70,000 budget.
08:04We're pretty shocked because he's probably 50% over the money we've allocated.
08:10We've got $34,000 outstanding.
08:13Sorry, what?
08:14There's $20,000 that's gone from excessive engineering.
08:20MASH, extra labour and custom poured footings.
08:25Didn't know about any of this.
08:26How was this not communicated?
08:30The communication hasn't been phenomenal.
08:33So I don't want there to be any expectation on us to pay more.
08:39That's not how it's going to work.
08:40Yeah.
08:41Front gravel path rebuilding extra drainage to legal point of discharge, $11,000.
08:46It's $11,000.
08:47Yeah.
08:48That was where we made him pull it all up to do the aggie drain.
08:51Is your landscaper here?
08:52He is.
08:53I reckon he's out the back.
08:54Yeah, he's gone ahead and done all these works.
08:57Yeah.
08:58Without doing any sort of inspections or anything.
09:01Do you remember us receiving that email?
09:03Sub-grade inspections must be completed by a representative from nine and six.
09:08We need to see what's below this just to make sure we've got a good solid base.
09:12This is all going to be ripped up.
09:15He never took the time to read it all, open up the attached documents and fully understand
09:22what he had to do.
09:25I think that $11,000 one's on him for him not reading plans and taking the time to understand
09:30what was required.
09:31In total, there was about $29,000 worth of unforeseen costs on his end.
09:38I reckon you could at least halve that from what I'm hearing.
09:41Yeah, but there's no money to pay for half of it.
09:43No money to pay for a dollar of it.
09:45I mean zero.
09:46The only way we're going to finish this landscaping is if he finishes it and it's the $70,000,
09:53which we've already paid.
09:55And if he doesn't, then we give him what we can and he walks.
09:59You kind of need to, you want to, you know, you have to finish your landscape.
10:03Yeah, I know, but it's more the fact of he's wanting money.
10:06We can't get it.
10:07I don't feel like he should still be working.
10:12Robbie and Matt, they're going to have to pull the rabbit out of a hat here because
10:15they need Paul to stay and finish his front yard.
10:18They're going to have to somehow negotiate something here with him.
10:21It's a variation bill that they didn't know about.
10:24Some of the variations I don't agree with.
10:26So there is room to negotiate.
10:28They need a front yard to sell the home.
10:30If you don't have a front yard or if it's left like this,
10:33they're not going to win the block.
10:35They might not even sell.
10:46It's front yard and facade week on the block.
10:49Over the past 82 days, the blockheads have turned empty spaces
10:53into show-stopping rooms.
10:55Holy .
10:57And one team are hoping to repeat the trick for the final time this week.
11:01Game on, Moss.
11:03Wow.
11:04Last week's winners, Emma and Ben, are finally back from their MG getaway
11:08to get stuck back into block life.
11:10All right, that's off.
11:12That's on.
11:13Let's get to work.
11:14And speaking of stuck...
11:15Definitely in reverse.
11:17Yeah.
11:21Hold on for a second.
11:23Guess what I just saw.
11:25What?
11:264D doors.
11:27House 3.
11:28Garage door.
11:29We've got a bit of a reveal for our garage door.
11:32It's a risk.
11:33Got it.
11:34So let me...
11:35There's a lot on the line this week.
11:36We thought we'd go big.
11:37So the plan is to have this beautiful Indigenous artwork going on the garage door from Troy Firebrace,
11:44the Jar Jar people.
11:45But we don't want to display that so early on in the week so other people can, you know,
11:50alter their plans.
11:51So the plan is to cover it up with something...
11:54A bit lighthearted.
11:56Their secret weapon, a one-of-a-kind Indigenous artwork on their garage door, will be covered
12:02until Sunday with a unique Graphico creation.
12:05Damien from Graphico, there's nothing he can't do.
12:08He has created a beige dot abstract photo of myself and Britt holding two drills, standing
12:18back-to-back.
12:20And it's awful.
12:23But it's believable if you think we're flogs.
12:27So you've got your faces on your garage door?
12:30Yeah.
12:31But subtly, not like in your face space.
12:34It's at a space, so it goes on the clean of the house.
12:36Troy!
12:37Troy!
12:38Would you put your face on your garage?
12:40Troy's well aware of what we're doing.
12:42I'd buy it.
12:43I wish there's just Taz just there in his bag.
12:51Dan doesn't know.
12:52Is Dan falling for it?
12:54Dan is completely falling for it.
12:56I think it's...
12:57I don't know.
12:58He pulled us aside.
13:00Numerous times.
13:01Told us, do not do it.
13:02What?
13:03Off camera, called Troy, our landscaper, and said...
13:06Troy!
13:07What I'm worried for?
13:08He can't do it.
13:10Troy says, nah.
13:12We've got to sell Taz and Britt.
13:15This is their story.
13:16Dan hung up the phone.
13:19And, like, it's selling it to Dan, but as soon as it goes up tomorrow,
13:22we have to sell it to everyone else on the block.
13:24Everyone outside?
13:25F***!
13:26With 24 hours till that big reveal, the biggest one, the blockhead's front yard, is only six days away.
13:36Will you be here all week or do you reckon you'll get out?
13:38I've got no idea.
13:39Time disappears very quickly around here.
13:40Yeah.
13:41And the prize of $50,000 off your reserve is the kind of coin some houses could do with now.
13:48It'd be great to have, like, a $50,000 budget for front yard week.
13:54And really rip into it.
13:56That's our landscape, one rock.
13:59It's minimalism.
14:01Yep.
14:02With this week's suggested budget for the front yard set at $20,000,
14:08plus defects to sort out, houses are feeling the pinch.
14:12So let's check in with a team who are masters at counting the coin.
14:18Here they are.
14:19Hi, mate.
14:20This is great to see.
14:21So all carpentry's nearly done in here?
14:23Yeah, it's all done.
14:24Yeah, it's all done.
14:25Now we've just got a gap in paint?
14:27Yeah.
14:28So you'll be out of here in a couple of days?
14:29Hopefully out of here maybe tomorrow, what's today?
14:31Tuesday, yeah, maybe.
14:32Wednesday or Thursday, depending on what happens outside.
14:34The last of everything this week.
14:36We'd hate to walk out of here without a win.
14:42We seem to keep getting pipped because we just don't have that little 1% thing to tick us over.
14:47So this week we're putting a big $260,000 caravan in the front.
14:53Yes, the quarter million dollar caravan they won back in week six will be their front yard showpiece.
14:58Along with a small seating area outside the guest bedroom.
15:05Generous lawn space and the only team to have a second driveway.
15:10Quintessential Aussie front yard.
15:14With a caravan in the front.
15:16We've left nothing in the bank, nothing in the tank.
15:19This is the last chance.
15:21We paid all your bills sonny.
15:22We paid all our bills mate.
15:24We paid every single bill we got.
15:25Every cent accounted for.
15:27How it should be.
15:31Our landscaper says that we owe him $30,000 of unforeseen costs.
15:36We have to address the issue today and come up with a solution.
15:41Yeah, talk about where we are moving forward to get it all forward.
15:45We've never experienced someone just putting it on an extra nearly 50% on top of a bill.
15:51So, Dan said there is room to, you know, negotiate it.
15:56We don't have the money to give him.
16:00We agreed on 70 grand.
16:02To do the job of front yard and backyard.
16:05So, the boys have literally come to the table with their landscaper Paul and his wife and business partner Carmen to attempt to find a resolution.
16:14So, we need to work out either is Paul going to finish the job or is he going to leave the job and Matt and I will finish it with our terrible landscaping skills.
16:22I guess, long story short, like we are stoked with the backyard.
16:24Like, it could not be better if we tried and we are so happy with you guys being our landscapers.
16:29But it's just like, what do we do moving forward because at the end of the day, Matt and I, we don't have the money.
16:37That's like full stop. We've got maybe five grand.
16:42At the absolute max and that's going to be cutting back from finishing the house.
16:47Yeah, so we can't finish everything inside.
16:51Like, so the money is still outstanding for my business.
16:54I, I'm only a small business, have to say, do I have to take that front and go at a loss?
16:59Well, I'm not sure what the answer, that answer is.
17:01I don't think that's fair.
17:06But also, it's probably not fair.
17:09There wasn't any communication to say, hey guys, we're five grand over budget.
17:14Hey guys, we're 10 grand over budget.
17:16Hey guys, we're 15 grand.
17:17There was.
17:18There was.
17:21It, it was communicated clearly.
17:23You guys are so flat out.
17:24I've got texts here.
17:25I've got proof here.
17:28It's been, even been on camera.
17:29Robbie said with an extra 20 grand from Combank, was it?
17:32It's, it was said like, so the money was there.
17:35I was going off the money.
17:37The money I thought we had.
17:38Yeah.
17:40I need to pay my guys.
17:55It's probably not fair.
17:57There wasn't any communication to say, hey guys we're five grand over budget.
18:02Hey guys, we're 10 grand over budget.
18:04Hey guys, we're 15 grand.
18:05There was.
18:06There was.
18:09It, it was communicated clearly.
18:11Look, it's, it's crazy, crazy.
18:13You're so busy.
18:14Yeah.
18:15And you probably just looked at, you know, the text message or the email really quickly.
18:18Um, these are all the different invoices.
18:20And then I'll put here, hi Matt, balance owing from 22nd of May to 52k.
18:25There's, yeah, it's constant, there's emails and all that sort of stuff.
18:28Robbie said we got an extra 20 grand from Combank, was it?
18:31Mm.
18:32It's, it was sad.
18:33I was going off the money I thought you had.
18:35Matt and I said, look, we probably can get you $20,000.
18:37And I said, I will confirm with you once we know exactly how much we've got.
18:41It might have been a little bit of miscommunication.
18:44Being in this situation, number one, we feel like we're letting Paul down.
18:50When it's not either of our intent or what we're about.
18:56Um, yeah, I just don't know what the next move is for us.
19:01Number two, we feel like .
19:03You know, we don't have the money to give him for what he's wanting and expecting.
19:10We obviously, you know, we put our hand up straight away and if you guys, you know, we can't afford you then we have to finish the job by ourselves, which we don't want.
19:17Well, I said I'd do the front.
19:19I'm happy to follow through.
19:21Paul, you know, we give him credit because he wants to finish the job.
19:27He wants to finish a beautiful front yard for house five on the block.
19:31I guess we just have to go away and work out where we can cut costs.
19:34You know, sending plants back, cancelling labourers.
19:37You can use Matt and I at your disposal for whatever you need us to do.
19:41100%.
19:42We are going to do absolutely everything we can to get as much money as we can to give to Paul.
19:49We're going to try our best to make whatever we can happen.
19:53Yeah.
19:54In my head, I'm like, okay, if we win a challenge, bang, 10 grand straight to you.
19:58And this week is, you know, double car and 50k off your reserve.
20:02Maybe give us a car.
20:04The main solution was that we finish.
20:08That's the only goal this week, that we finish our front yard.
20:10So Matt and I are just rolling up our sleeves and be Paul's labourers for a couple of days.
20:15So you're out helping.
20:16How are we going with defects inside?
20:18Uh...
20:19Couldn't give a ****.
20:22Couldn't give a ****.
20:30The difference in production as you look up and back?
20:32Oh, nothing.
20:33What's going on?
20:34House 2's done nothing all day, really.
20:37Just throwing rock out the back.
20:39Nice size rocks.
20:40Yeah, beautiful.
20:41Landscaping may be slow going, but the girls are getting things done as they're sticking to Shan's separation order.
20:52Inside can is on defect duty.
20:55An outside hand is on a shopping mission.
21:05So we're sort of doing like a Japanese Zen garden.
21:09And so far, Shan's plan has seen a sharp decline in bickering.
21:13We're chasing a water feature.
21:15Bye, honey.
21:16Did you get my text messages?
21:17It's Toscan Path Northcote Potteries.
21:18We could put one out on the, like...
21:19Barbecue area or al fresco.
21:20That's what I'm thinking.
21:21Hmm.
21:22It's not, the backyard's not going to be judged, so...
21:23I know, but, like, I'm trying to sort out a deal, alright?
21:24So just go with it and say which one you like, please.
21:25Uh, it's feeling a bit tense and awkward again.
21:26So let's move on.
21:27Oh, look, there's Alicia.
21:28Hello?
21:41What can we do for you today?
21:42I need lots of paint, please.
21:43Uh, it's feeling a bit tense and awkward again, so let's move on.
21:46Oh, look.
21:47There's Alicia.
21:48Hello?
21:49What can we do for you today?
21:50of paint please I think I ended up with 77 litres of paint I love painting I
22:01find it therapeutic I hate painting now how's your front yard progressing but
22:11the ramp going in tiles all our trees out the front we're reversing a caravan
22:16in as that's being sold with the house we've lined up a little sneaky car to
22:22stay in our driveway I'd commandeered the mg the ute that's up for grabs I wanted
22:27to show the amenity of our place two driveways yeah two driveways so you can
22:32buy that house you will have the caravan and hopefully an mg ute we're putting it
22:37out to the universe caravan car house win the block
22:44to the loop and so day 82 concludes on the block as I've literally just been
22:55told there's a surprise for me in my sawmill and I genuinely have no idea what
23:01it is so the end of Tuesday we take Scotty into his sawmill it's quite
23:13bizarre summoning Scotty to his own sawmill when normally he's the one doing
23:17it for us and reading us for filth I have been summoned and that's the first
23:21time that's ever happened to me before who do you people pick you up
23:25what's going on
23:27hello hello he was a bit taken aback at first I think he didn't know what was
23:33he didn't know what was going on yeah I think he throws an absolute stitch up what
23:36are we doing
23:37am I going to get some feedback pop down Scotty this is our show at the moment
23:43I'm sorry my apologies I've been asked to be the spokesperson which is a big honor
23:49right here we go right Scotty you nervous no not at all mate you should be
23:56should be Scotty yes what a pleasure to be standing up here in your place who would have thought in eleven and a half weeks that we've been here we would not have only
24:06built a whole house but we get the opportunity to take your place in front
24:11of the camera don't worry mate I won't get too comfortable you don't look
24:18comfortable at all for all of us that stand here in front of you and no doubt
24:23the previous blockheads you've been so supportive and it's not often that you
24:26get any thanks all that we seem to do is whinge about our scores ask for more
24:33money bicker between ourselves and generally be a thorn in your side so
24:39today we get to say thanks we've all come down here at one stage and found you
24:43tinkering away on the swords and the wood miser seeing you on that wood miser the
24:47first day was like watching a child going down the slide for the first time
24:52there was a big smile on your face looking like you're not gonna let anyone
24:56else near it we've managed to commandeer a portable wood miser lx-50 of your very own
25:09and love oh love my mind endless love
25:16he was chuffed I thought he was going to cry
25:19is that mine that's yours mate that's yours
25:23so on behalf of the 2025 blockheads we'd like to thank you for a great season
25:27and we can't wait to see what wonderful creations you build with this
25:32well this is the nicest thing that's ever happened to me in my life it's
25:41absolutely incredible emotional yeah he did have a tear in his eye
25:46that is so unreal I've never been given a gift before and you know what Scott he's
25:54not really much of a hugger this is unprecedented for me I thank you so much
25:59and I feel which I've never done before a group hug
26:05thank you
26:09we love you Scotty
26:11the number one thing we get asked out in the streets is how Scotty cam how Scotty
26:14cam what's he like in rural life well he's fantastic yeah he's fantastic he's
26:18like a dud and he's one of the best humans I've ever met yeah and we're so
26:21very fortunate and lucky to be here yeah we are now you guys are playing for the
26:25transport thank you Scotty on camera and off camera is the same bloke that you
26:31see he's he's a good buddy's also got a soft soft heart I've been doing this for a
26:35long time I've been at Channel 9 for 26 years and you guys have been my best I
26:39promise you
26:41so it's wonderful okay you can go to the edge now before I cry
26:47it feels just like a little blur of three months this has been our whole life day in day
27:01out we have cried we have celebrated we have felt every emotion exhilarating depleted depressing happy sad you know even when you are kicked off site your mind does not stop like this is 24 7 7
27:19days a week but even for our most dedicated blockheads cracks are appearing in that commitment this week
27:25had a bit of a sleeping did we
27:27Oh I've not missed a single pre start well you have now now I have pre start for those who remember to attend it
27:40is a mandatory daily safety briefing run by site supervisor and beacon of positivity gmac
28:02don't block anything we'll just pick the car up we'll put it out the street been dying to do it all season
28:08and non-attendance from a team is a big no-no I know yeah just phones in charge and missed alarm so
28:17it's on us um yeah I've got to find dad I have Dan dad called Dan dad can't play that um
28:31oh I thought I got away with it
28:32mate I know I know unlike you I know daddy does let you off lightly I didn't call him daddy
28:46well you never missed one you've been very good yeah just up late doing stuff yeah yeah I had a bit of stuff
28:53to get done okay yeah Dan let us offer the warning oh I appreciate that thank you
29:02for daddy for daddy for daddy
29:08I hate this
29:09oh you love dad too much I do love Dan
29:23you know these doggets grommets
29:28what lip is it that's about 600 on the floor
29:31as long as you love me
29:33who you are
29:35as long as you love me
29:39he did a really good job
29:40I don't care
29:42as long as you love me
29:48are you buying me dinner next week
29:49did he yeah
29:51as long as you love me
29:54so
30:06compared to this time last week how do you feel this week's going
30:12last Wednesday I think Ben was crying in the corner
30:16and I was crying in the other corner so it's a little bit different to last week
30:20but the winners from last week will be hoping it's another outside space victory
30:25the entrance is framed by bottle trees and a fern garden running along the front of the house
30:30plus multiple sections with timber decking
30:34yeah we've probably got three decks to build so we've still got our work cut out for us
30:38got our landscapes coming in tomorrow to smash out the rest of the front yard
30:42I'm feeling good with where we're at we still have a big week ahead of us
30:46but I think it's achievable
30:47we think we've probably got the biggest area to landscape
30:53we'll see what everybody else delivers but I think we've got a strong front yard
30:57yeah
30:59house won't officially have the biggest area to landscape
31:01with their neighbour one of the smallest
31:05although given its size outside hand is progressing slowly
31:09in the front where that garden bed is yeah what sort of plants are we putting in there
31:17oh I'd like to put some bamboo in some pots yeah I was looking around and I was just like what's
31:24happening nothing's happening why is nothing happening
31:27we'll be right we'll be right what sort of pots
31:32um
31:36um
31:36we love christian
31:48he is such a visionary he's a creative but he moves at his own pace
31:54they're just so big these two boulders aren't they yeah doing from the side we can see all our
32:05neighbours we can see whether we're at we can see lawn we can see structures and plans going in and
32:11we're like rolling dirt around
32:16what is the plan everyone showed their cards early we're not showing ours
32:23we're keeping our garden a secret i know there's a plan i know that he'll get it done i know that
32:29he's like the hardest worker ever but for me it's uncomfortable when things aren't happening
32:34especially after last week i think we're like yeah what do we need to be doing to get this yard there
32:39yeah yeah but progress can't be stopped at house three
32:44who are now ready to reveal a unique front facade facelift to their competitors
32:51oh my god i feel sick
33:02the house is written to us guys okay so we made the house seriously we designed the house so
33:07obviously people buy the house for us in our story and um yeah like we're really selling the
33:11story about brit and taz and who they are i don't know how i'm going to keep this up
33:16garage doors are here did you change it change it have we changed it or not we're rolling with it
33:23i still think that ford and thought we were joking and then the door goes on
33:29oh my god
33:39no what do you mean no no it's subtle it's subtle
33:43oh
33:56dan comes around just hit the garage door
33:58Oh, my God.
34:08No.
34:10There is our faces on the garage door.
34:18Wow.
34:20All you've said is wow.
34:23Wow.
34:24Didn't word spread quick?
34:32Tell me that's a joke.
34:33Is it real?
34:37Did you do this?
34:38We've taken a risk.
34:40You don't watch the show, Matt, but people who buy these houses buy into you and your story.
34:44Look, I love myself, but I'm not that indulgent.
34:51Wow.
34:54I'm so shocked that everyone thinks we're that big of flogs.
34:57Everyone thinks we're that vain that we would actually do this.
34:59You've got to be bold.
35:00Yeah.
35:01Do you like it?
35:03Looks good.
35:04You look hot.
35:05Wow, are you?
35:06Yep.
35:07We're all for it.
35:08Why?
35:09If it takes a point off them, it puts a point on us, so it's all good.
35:12Roll it.
35:13Check this out.
35:14I love it.
35:15You love it.
35:16Oh, my God.
35:18It's good for our game.
35:20Leave it.
35:21Love it.
35:21Wouldn't change a thing.
35:22We told everybody, do not tell them otherwise.
35:25You love it, and it's great.
35:27But what were you really thinking?
35:29It's f***ing terrible.
35:33That has knocked them out of the competition.
35:36That's really going to hurt them at auction.
35:38Don't worry about judging.
35:39I'm worried about auction for them.
35:40Yeah.
35:41That's the one.
35:41That's what I'm worried about.
35:42People were full bought into it.
35:44Little do they know, but behind that monstrosity is a beautiful artwork, and we can't wait to reveal that.
35:49Yeah.
35:49There's a little part of you like, maybe we'll keep it.
35:52Absolutely not.
35:54That is getting ripped off.
35:57Like, if I have to burn the house down, that is going away.
35:59To be honest, I quite like it.
36:03But I'll tell you what I like more.
36:05You're sampling the best.
36:09I know you guys are a bit tight on budget, and you've already started working hard.
36:15And so, you're the Bunnings' hardest worker for me.
36:17You can have a baker's dozen, which is 13, any size, of any plant you want.
36:29We're not having a palm tree.
36:31That's a good prize.
36:32That's a great prize.
36:34Can I give you a hug?
36:36Yes, all right.
36:37Come on.
36:38No.
36:38Your sampling's the best.
36:43Better than all the rest.
36:46Bye.
36:47Thank you for the tree, Scotty.
36:49No worries.
36:51And now with their tree haul, House 5's front facade has renewed potential to stand out from
36:56the pack.
36:58Oh, God, you idiot.
36:59You're throwing it everywhere.
37:01I can't deal you today.
37:04And having those game changers in your front facade, like House 3's outdoor cinema and House
37:094's caravan, could be the key to bagging those two MGs at 50 grand off your reserve,
37:16courtesy of Bunnings.
37:18So, there is now a worried house, too.
37:25They need more show-stopping items.
37:29Candice, this is important.
37:30Like, are we going to get a sauna or are we not?
37:33No.
37:34Well, we can't afford it.
37:36Yes, we can.
37:37We did the maths last night.
37:39Hannah.
37:41Why are you getting up?
37:42Because, Ken, I'm getting worried now.
37:44Yeah, Ken and I take turns to freak out and overwhelm and get stressed.
37:50So, today was my day to do that.
37:53I'm outside and I'm saying we have the money.
37:56I sat down for hours into the maths.
37:58So, then buy it, Hannah.
37:59Why are you yelling at me?
37:59Because I need your approval.
38:01Buy it.
38:02There you go.
38:02There's my approval.
38:03Well, no, but where do you want to put it and what does that look like?
38:06It has to go next to the pool cabana because that's the only place they can rip out and
38:11run wires.
38:15I would not be...
38:16Right now, this front yard is the most important thing.
38:19This is what's getting judged.
38:20But you realise that you have to have those things in your mind as well.
38:25Oh, look.
38:26Han is very strong-minded and when she's caught in a negative spiral, it's hard to pull her
38:33out.
38:33OK, so look at everyone else's.
38:37I'm focused on the front yard.
38:39The back yard is done.
38:40But it's also important.
38:43What's going on?
38:45What's going on?
38:46But then, Lee steps in as a voice of reason.
38:51Please.
38:52Let's just start rational.
38:53Yeah.
38:53And keep things calm.
38:57What you've got to think about is the grand prize this week, right?
39:00Gives you a car for the house, which is a sale point.
39:08Right?
39:09Your priority is your front garden.
39:11Yeah, exactly.
39:14That's where you need to focus.
39:15But he stepped in to spot you a little bit, Ken.
39:20Was it nice to have Lee sort of help you out?
39:23Um, yeah.
39:24It's lovely to have Lee here.
39:26And he knows Han very well and how crazy she is.
39:30It's been an absolute rollercoaster of emotions.
39:32And Hannah and I have had tears, blood, sweat, crying, laughing.
39:38But, yeah, it wouldn't change it for the world.
39:40It's been life-changing.
39:46And I'm so proud of you.
39:48And I'm so proud of what we've produced.
39:50Without you, like, I could not have done this.
39:59Like, you're my rock.
40:02And literally, like, my world.
40:05I just don't want a day without you ever again.
40:08Like, I've just...
40:09You're just the best thing in the world.
40:11And it's been so amazing being by your side doing this together.
40:14Oh, I love you.
40:17You don't want just one day apart after this.
40:19You're such a bitch.
40:36It's official.
40:37It's day 83 on the block.
40:39I mean, four days before our blockheads
40:41will have fully completed their homes
40:43is about to hit its conclusion.
40:47We're fully planned to Wednesday.
40:49and we have turf a robin in the morning
40:51and then I'll be fully turfed tomorrow.
40:53Way done.
40:58What's that?
40:59What?
41:00Grab it.
41:01What is it?
41:02I don't know.
41:02Just a rock.
41:04Gold nugget.
41:06I think he's found gold.
41:07He's struck gold.
41:07It would be pretty funny.
41:09Let me look.
41:10I'm a geologist.
41:11It's on my land, by the way.
41:13Yeah.
41:13No, fool's gold.
41:16Fool's gold.
41:17All right.
41:17That's why Dan found it.
41:30Thank you for coming out.
41:31Yeah, no.
41:32Just trying to plan the front yard.
41:34The lighting is a huge aspect,
41:35so it's really important that we get this right.
41:37Yeah, absolutely.
41:38What are we thinking?
41:39So there's going to be lots of trees.
41:40So I was thinking of using the spike lights.
41:42I mean, we've got a lot of options for outdoor lighting.
41:45It's a lot of people's first impressions to the house,
41:47so we have to make sure that it really stands out.
41:49Absolutely.
41:50Feeling okay.
41:51The boys from Love It Landscaping
41:52have a bit of progress outside.
41:55I think we're going to have a beautiful front yard
41:57and I think the garage door.
41:59That is great.
42:03The real one is going to be really incredible.
42:07It's a statement piece.
42:09The water feature is a statement piece.
42:10The $30,000 outdoor cinema is a statement piece.
42:13We've thrown everything at this front yard
42:14because $50,000 off the reserve is amazing.
42:16Imagine walking away with an MG
42:18and parking one in the driveway.
42:21It's the week to win.
42:22Yeah.
42:23What at stake.
42:23Who would you say is the hardest worker
42:38out of Em and Ben?
42:41I would say Emma
42:43because she's 12, 20 weeks pregnant.
42:47Oh, f***.
42:48I also think you're a hard worker too, Benji.
43:02Like, you do a lot of back-end work.
43:05The road is...
43:07I need a paintbrush before Bunnings closes.
43:12No, not really.
43:13Okay.
43:14Alright, I'm a house worker.
43:15But our official Bunnings' hardest workers
43:18have hit another stumbling block.
43:23In a week that's been full of them for the boys.
43:31I go for a drive to the other side of Melbourne
43:34to pick up some garden edging.
43:4030 metres worth of our curve we're using
43:42and they gave him one length.
43:44I've been dazed, they're confused
43:46for so long, it's not true.
43:49I'm about to explode.
43:52I've done four hours in the car
43:53for one little bit of steel and a peg.
43:56One I should have had 16 lengths.
44:06I'm ready to kill someone.
44:07I listened to some murder podcasts on the way there.
44:15So do you know what?
44:16Don't tempt me right now
44:17because I'm volatile.
44:19Four more days.
44:30Not that I'm counting.
44:31I think you'll miss this lot.
44:34Do you know what?
44:35I'm going to miss seeing everyone every day
44:37because we've sort of...
44:39We haven't thought of...
44:40We've created a little family dynamic with everyone.
44:42Like, everyone has their ups and downs
44:43but best friends do, family does.
44:46It's only normal,
44:47especially in a high-pressure environment like this.
44:49But I'm going to miss seeing them all every day.
44:52You know?
44:54Even the crazy ones.
44:55What's she doing?
45:00Just smacking the boxes.
45:01Smack of the box!
45:03Smack of the box!
45:07I'm going to miss her.
45:08A lot.
45:09We love her.
45:10Hold me.
45:11OK.
45:12Spin me around now.
45:14Nine.
45:15One more, one more.
45:18Oh, I feel weird in my tummy.
45:22I just love Matt.
45:24I love him so much.
45:25It makes me emotional.
45:26Alicia.
45:28Are you still death-eyeing me?
45:30Along to you, Gold Coast.
45:31Along to you.
45:32He's one of those people
45:34that you could be having the worst day
45:35and he'll just give you
45:36the biggest, most heartfelt hug
45:39and he'll just say something
45:41so off the cuff
45:42and so inappropriate.
45:43If you steal my couch,
45:45I'm going to steal your husband.
45:47That no matter how much you're crying,
45:49you have to stop and laugh.
45:50Such a good person.
45:52Cheers, girl.
45:52Cheers.
45:53Cheers.
45:53What I love about Leesh...
45:56Whoever loses is in the pool.
45:58Stay in, stay in.
45:59She said,
46:00if we win this week,
46:01I'm giving the car to my mum.
46:02She wants to win
46:03to do something nice
46:05for other people.
46:05Fabulous!
46:06Oh, my God!
46:07Oh, my God!
46:08That's so awesome!
46:09There's not many people
46:11you come across in your life
46:12that are as kind
46:13and as genuine.
46:14Go Leesh!
46:15Go Leesh!
46:16Go Leesh!
46:17Go Leesh!
46:21She's just such a kind soul.
46:23And I feel so fortunate
46:25that both the boys
46:26have been our neighbours,
46:27that we've got to do
46:28this ride with them.
46:29Means a lot to us.
46:32Tomorrow night...
46:33I've done something.
46:34I actually don't know
46:36what to say.
46:36Yeah?
46:37It's crazy.
46:38There are some unwelcome
46:39surprises for our blockheads.
46:42Whoa, whoa, whoa!
46:43That hasn't been proved.
46:44Yes, it has.
46:45Just one thing after another.
46:47Hello?
46:48It's feeling like,
46:49oh, my gosh,
46:49what else could go wrong?
46:51And in the final days,
46:52the competition
46:53gets rock hard.
46:55It was awesome
46:56seeing such
46:57a massive structure
46:58erected.
46:59I feel like I need
47:00something a little bit
47:01larger.
47:03I just don't get it.
