00:00Hello and welcome to the Dark Mystery Lounge.

00:03A few months ago I covered America's unknown child, aka the boy in the box.

00:09A badly beaten young boy who was found dead in a large cardboard box on Susquehanna Road in Box Chase,

00:16which is northeast of Philadelphia back in February 1957.

00:21I go into detail about this case if you want to check it out, it'll be in the eye right above.

00:26While there has been a major breakthrough in the case,

00:30thanks to investigators in the V-Duck Society who never gave up on trying to solve this case,

00:35have finally cracked it wide open.

00:38Thanks to DNA testing and forensic genealogy, they found his birth certificate and thus found his name.

00:45Now formerly known as America's unknown child is four-year-old Joseph Augustus Zarelli,

00:52born January 13th, 1953, from 61st and Market in West Philadelphia.

00:59Unfortunately, both parents are deceased.

01:01Now finding out his name is the first step into figuring out how the boy died and who killed and dumped his body.

01:09Also whether or not the killer is still alive.

01:11But this case is not closed until they find out who did this to little Joseph.

01:15Remember, this case is over 65 years old,

01:19so the chances of finding anyone alive that remembers the little boy is going to be difficult.

01:25But now they can finally put a name on his headstone in Ivy Hill Cemetery.
