00:00Last year was a really terrible year for us.

00:03Losing my mum felt like, and still does,

00:08feel like I've lost a part of me.

00:12Me and my mum, we had a brilliant relationship.

00:15And one of the things I loved was coming home from work

00:18and sitting down and having a cup of tea with my mum.

00:22We'd be wrapped in a blanket.

00:24And we'd just be warm together.

00:30Our mum were very close.

00:33It was a real tough time.

00:36I'd said no to every single thing that came my way.

00:40And then Strictly came knocking.

00:43And I thought, yeah, I'm going to do it.

00:46This is my yes year.

00:48And I'm going to do it because I want to be seen.

00:52Because my mum would want me to be seen.
