01:18and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
01:20And then they participated in the Summit of Central Asia and United States Leaders
01:25in the C5 plus 1 format, which over the past 10 years,
01:30since its establishment, has become an effective mechanism
01:33for developing regional trade, transport, and energy connections.
01:37This is the second time the summit is taking place.
01:40At this time, President Merzioev proposed about 10 initiatives,
01:44such as establishing a permanent secretariat
01:46to ensure continuous coordination and communication among member countries,
01:51creating a coordinating council on investment and trade
01:54to strengthen economic ties and facilitate regional business cooperation,
01:59launching the Central Asian Investment Partnership Fund
02:02to attract and manage joint investment in key regional projects,
02:06developing major transport, communication, and energy projects
02:10to connect Central Asia with the South Caucasus and Europe.
02:14At the conclusion of the negotiations,
02:17President of Uzbekistan proposed to hold the next summit
02:20in the city of Samarkand
02:22and invited Donald Trump to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.
02:26Kazakhstan has officially pledged to sign the Abraham Accords,
02:29a series of agreements first introduced in 2020
02:32to normalize diplomatic relations between Israel and Arab nations.
02:37During the C5 plus 1 summit in Washington,
02:39Donald Trump made an unprecedented gesture,
02:41inviting President Kassim Jomar Tokayev
02:44to join a phone call with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
02:48to solidify Kazakhstan's intent to join the Accords.
02:51The C5 plus 1 summit also yielded over $17 billion
02:54in new agreements between Kazakhstan and the U.S. companies,
02:58spanning mineral resources, digital technologies.
03:01The U.S. remains Kazakhstan's largest investor
03:03with more than $100 billion in cumulative investments,
03:07about 80% of all foreign investment in Central Asia.
03:10Bilateral trade has nearly doubled to $5 billion
03:12with more than 600 American companies now in operation in Kazakhstan.
