How to stop people from adding you to WhatsApp groups

00:00How to stop people from adding you to WhatsApp groups on Android.

00:05Tap the Menu button.

00:08Tap Settings.

00:11Tap Privacy.

00:14Tap Groups.

00:18Select My Contacts Accept.

00:21You can either select all contacts or choose specific ones.

00:25To select or deselect all contacts, just tap the button in the top right corner.

00:32Tap the button in the bottom right corner to save.

00:38The selected contacts and strangers will no longer be able to add you to WhatsApp groups without your permission.

00:45Group admins who can't add you to a group will have the option to invite you privately instead.

00:49This setting does not apply to community announcement groups.

00:53If you're added to a community, you'll automatically be added to its announcement group.
