02:47here with you after dinner last night i mean everybody was pretty much exhausted and we went

02:52home and went straight to bed i was supposed to sleep in the room with latrice but i didn't want

02:57to do that so i'm bunking with marie so how you feel about your latrice conversation last night

03:04my thing is when people show you who they are as they say you have to believe them

03:10things didn't go well at dinner last night and frankly i expected that but it kind of leaves us at

03:26the awkward point so how you feel like you and tisha's on top y'all done talking now i just feel

03:31like they like she wanted me to be a fault for what went on but at the end of the day it's still

03:39damned if i do damn if i don't because at the end of the day tisha you not gonna leave glenn right

03:44and don't try to make it seem like it's my fault for something that your man did i feel for the position

03:51that latrice is in when i first found out about the dms i don't want anything to do with it i don't

04:00want to be the person who you know everybody knows a situation and then we're around latisha like this

04:07is something that i literally wouldn't take to her i wouldn't either i am grateful every day that i

04:13missed that pool party i want to stay out of the drama we're in each other's presence let's be

05:01brunch tour women brunch mississippi and it's not all about entrepreneurship it's also about home

05:06ownership and connecting women together thank you i love you i love you my friend

05:11we're having a brunch yes you should join us i really feel good being able to show up as latisha's

05:33friend and help her with this brunch it is of the utmost importance that this brunch goes well i know

05:39these ladies know that these ladies know that i'm a boss but seeing is believing and this is my chance

05:43to show them that hey carrie's working with something girl it looks really good we're gonna wait for

05:51latisha and them to get here before we get started but they're coming i put on something comfortable

05:57because you know i'll be moving around at the brunches

05:58brunch fashion is very important the fascinators the flowers the southern belle attire all of that

06:12i'm dressed to impress y'all know i'll be extra nice so it's important for me to show up and show

06:18out i think my dress is cute i think people should dress their personality especially when you're showing

06:24up to a brunch when it comes to latrice rogers she steps each and every time i don't care if she's

06:29taking out the garbage so brunch is no different i mean i'm gonna show up as my fabulous self

06:34i am wearing four s collections today and i'm gonna top it off pair it with a cute hat

06:41i am representing jackson very well true southern belle style we are headed to brunch y'all

06:55on my way to the brunch i do have mixed emotions because i'm not hands-on with this brunch as i

07:06normally would be i'm nervous but i'm excited it's here hello ladies so you guys have y'all a little

07:20spot right here i love kerry's restaurant i smell food i see people enjoying themselves having a good

07:30time this is what i get excited about black women owning businesses owning your brand can we have

07:38your attention please first i would like to say thank you for coming out it is an honor to be able

07:46to relaunch women brunch mississippi and for those of you who may not know what women brunch mississippi

07:51is it is a platform for female entrepreneurs throughout the state of mississippi to network connect

07:57and we promote collaboration over competition can you say that for me collaboration over competition

08:04i just want to thank you for coming here and highlighting my restaurant and choosing us to have

08:09your launch thank you and i really just love women and i love to see women grow and achieve the

08:17dreams of their heart and y'all know i get i get emotional every time i do this i don't know why

08:22carrie's so emotional right now she didn't even realize her eyelash down here by her nose honey i've

08:29never had an entire lash to come off my eyelids how can you not see it it's right there this eyelash

08:36is just hanging i just want to touch it but i'm too far away okay this is really important to me

08:43i don't have your lashes okay as the line goes one monkey don't stop no show two lashes ain't gonna

09:04stop my you know you cry a lot and so do i that's probably why we're drawn to each other yes thank

09:13you carrie y'all let's give it up again i love it i can't be crying girl you know i get emotional

09:19carrie and our girl crushed over each other for years on social media we've been social media besties

09:25for a long time don't be afraid to slide in somebody's dm don't be afraid to slide in someone's

09:34dms that may not be your ministry right now you may need to try to rephrase it and preach something else

09:41because your husband is practicing what you preach so with that being said um what i've learned um

09:47brunching since 2017 and traveling the world there are so many entrepreneurs and inspiring

09:52entrepreneurs and women in general who can share their story so today i want you guys to actually

09:57tell your story and to inspire me as well and the bells okay thank you what we know is when women

10:05talk that's when things happen yeah when we talk and we get together yes we can become vice president

10:10i'm a realtor i'm in management and consulting and i'm a purpose coach for single moms because i am

10:17a single mom and one thing about women in mississippi we stand for a lot and you see that vision in all

10:25of us yes thank you to everybody for coming this is women brunch mississippi and we are back and i love

10:31you all i feel like the brunch went great anytime there's an opportunity for me to connect with other

10:37women it's a win for me i think that it was a great collaboration between me and carrie and i just hope

10:43that the trip continues to be peaceful and good energy it's time to get out thank you coming up on

11:45venue thank you how do y'all like why you tell us don't eat that much what you got planned carrie

11:51y'all know i'm gonna give creole all day long i'm gonna get i love creole i don't eat spicy what you

11:56have for me when i saw martin i knew you liked that unseasoned chicken

12:11thank you oh yeah that was good yes that was really good home sweet home i felt like the brunch went

12:22swimmingly it was great now i've got a few surprises and i don't know what the ladies are

12:29gonna think about it but i'm hoping they're gonna love it oh lord these shoes gotta come out well i want

12:35everybody to go and change into their pjs and we are gonna have what is called a lemon squeeze okay so

12:43a lemon squeeze is something we used to do in our sorority whenever we had like you know something that

12:48needed to come to the surface like just imagine we getting together squeezing lemons together for

12:52the lemonade okay trying to make you know lemonade out of a lemon right so change okay okay and then

12:59we're gonna squeeze the lemon okay okay i don't understand the lemon squeeze this is another scheme

13:05that carrie set up to stir up some drama between me and latrice i just know that anytime they say

13:14let's have a conversation we're about to squeeze some out hey y'all what's y'all got what's y'all got

13:23hey how you doing we got gumbo and rice oh good so i need to get a pot and we need to warm this up oh

13:32do y'all have a pot large enough for the gumbo oh no that is desecration we will not food definitely

13:40brings people together i know that from just being a southern belle myself i think that the

13:45combination of gumbo and the lemon squeeze will bring tons of harmony back to the group at least

13:50we're hoping so we got the family here they done brought the food to us and if you bring food to me

14:04you get an a in my book food is my everything that's why i cannot get rid of these thighs

14:09y'all know i promised y'all some good creole heritage so i brought my creole crew

14:12oh i'm so glad you did all diamond this is my mother-in-law this is matt's mom

14:18oh nice meeting y'all and all that nice meeting you baby bye enjoy we're gonna go ahead and get

14:31started with our lemon squeeze okay i am ready i think y'all bowls gumbo first yes go ahead okay

14:37minus me i'm not eating that we're gonna get the lemon squeeze started as we are multitasking but we're

14:45gonna eat as we go so what exactly is a lemon squeeze it is a time when women get together and

14:51get everything off of your chest we need to put it all out and open so that we can maintain our

14:56sisterhood you know what i mean okay and i must i will say this i smells oh lord the bread girl you're

15:03burning the bread i thought you could multitask i can't y'all need her and put that in a bag and take it

15:09outside oh my god and one fell oh my goodness carol we know you can't cook i can cook i just don't do it

15:19often you burn bread how do you burn bread she's just heating up the food so how do you burn

15:25heated up food i see why her family cooking food for she can't cook um that's probably for me

15:36don't matter what's the door chocolate is who's at the door carrie did you have a stripper or something

15:44i hope not because dr monroe she can't control herself around strippers baby you just have it

15:52oh you remember what happened last time so i hope you know what you're doing oh that might be that's my

16:00pizza that's my food oh carey grab the napkins you want a piece i do okay anybody else want a piece

16:11i have never i would never order food when going to a person's house as a guest i don't know that's

16:19just a little rude to order pizza i think i would have went to bed hungry this is typical marie right

16:25now this piece is the best pizza i've had because i'm starving now that we got the food settled let's

16:32get back to the lemon squeeze so i know we did the brunch today and i enjoyed it i know you guys

16:37enjoyed it now i i can't say though i do think you know jackson shows up and they show out baby oh of

16:45course every time the coast is like more dressed down

16:50oh okay coastal casual so coastal casual it's okay y'all got jackson the city but we got jackson

16:56county for all that ratchetness so if that's what you mean i want you guys i know you ain't kind of

17:10coming up on bell collective when i confide in somebody it's whole heartling and once they cross me

17:16bitch it's up i always get the smoke y'all always coming for me latrice you bring the smoke no more

17:25y'all got jackson the city but we got jackson county for all that ratchetness so if that's what you

17:30why are you calling jackson ratchet now well what what what what what i would say what are you calling

17:43jackson is definitely ratchet and i stand on that it can also be sophistoc ratchet as well but for the most

17:49part ratchet and the girls are acting all clutching their pearls but they know good and darn well

17:58yeah listen i'm from jackson she's from jackson i have love her she's from jackson nothing ratchet about

18:05me not y'all but y'all know jackson is ratchet well look we ain't look ratchet today okay

18:12shut it shut it down i'm definitely not okay so it opened up saying that people on guv coast

18:20were dressed down so carrie got offended i wasn't offended well why did you say carrie let me help you

18:29i've had enough of the deflection and the projection i'm gonna need y'all get down to the real nitty-gritty

18:35of what's going on in this group but moving along i will ask y'all this the elephant in the room

18:41latrice and latisha are you harboring anything because now is the time to get it off your chest

18:47i don't want y'all to leave the gulf coast and go back to the beautiful squeeze the lemon dry with

18:54anything on your chest so what y'all need to squeeze and get out because we leaving it here okay we done

18:59squeezed we got we need to squeeze some more because we done squeezed out out and squeezed our stuff

19:04this season in my life i'm moving accordingly when people show me who they are whether it's

19:08you trees or whoever when i confide in somebody it's wholeheartedly and once they cross me

19:12bitch it's up if you do that or you mess with my marriage anything that's what i'm saying i don't

19:17want to be surrounded about nobody i have to question and it's okay it's okay for people not

19:22to get along it's okay for people not to like people but it's not okay for people to weaponize

19:27vulnerability latrice definitely violated my trust and trust and a friendship is top priority if you're

19:37friends with someone that means that you have to be able to trust them and you believe that they're

19:42going to be right there to have your back even if you're not in the room i'm telling you your

19:47vulnerability is what makes you you that's what i have grown to love about you and i think it's

19:52beautiful that you do share thank you carrie and i feel like it's a gift and a curse putting your

19:58business out there you know just being authentic in certain spaces well i vibe to not get caught up

20:04in no damn boo no more bull this how i am pretend i'm latrice you my girl and she my girl something

20:11going on with your husband with her right i ain't gonna say nothing to you and i ain't gonna say

20:15nothing to her i'm gonna step to his ass and i'm gonna say look bruh i know what you're doing

20:19i'm gonna check his ass and let him know if you don't stop i'm telling both of them well everybody

20:24held the situation different you're right that's how i'm handling it because i ain't gonna be in the

20:29middle of no latrice why are you so quiet i'm listening to y'all baby i ain't listening to you

20:36riri i knew it was a matter of time before you showed your true colors again i'm tired of being a

20:41scapegoat for this group and especially for glenn and latisha's marital problems family knew the same

20:46information i knew child this is something she's not saying would you you see me and then you see

20:52what he married to yeah but i'm not gonna throw her under the bus marie you asked like why i'm so

21:02quiet it's because each and every time i don't care what it is the sky could be blue yellow pink

21:07i always get the smoke y'all always coming for me latrice you bring the smoke no more if we're

21:13gonna be a collective let's be a collective if it ain't no trust i don't want to be around nobody

21:17that i don't trust where's the sisterhood where's the womanhood marie why are you doing all this

21:23dramatic the life out baby i don't have no more life you don't need to let me squeeze i mean

21:31why we keep doing this latisha because it comes right back to this and that's not where i'm set up in

21:37my life right now because i ain't squeezing no about mandy no more mandy is squeezed out i planned

21:42this lemon squeeze so everybody could work out their differences but things are going downhill

21:47real fast i have one more surprise up my sleeve to bring the group back together we're about to take

21:53it way back is that the door well you know i love a good trick up my sleeve if a man is on the other

22:02side of this door i am calling me an uber and i'm getting to the closest hotel

22:16hello hello how are you come on in miss la cara yes hello ladies you know we've had some issues

22:30within the group and so my assistant booked miss la cara and she is a minister medium okay so healing and

22:41peace is in the utmost importance to me in relationships i don't play that keeping things

22:49all bottled up i think it's a recipe for disaster so i want to be that person that can help to find

22:56healing and peace with this group and i'm willing to go to extra miles to help to bring these ladies

23:01on a spiritual journey of healing so formally i'm dr la cara foster okay yes and i am a minister and a

23:08medium the mediumship part allows me to be able to connect to loved ones who have passed right to

23:13see if they have any messages that want to come through or they want to share of uh healing closure

23:18or peace and this gift just allows me to be able to tap into that energy um and we're just gonna get

23:23into it okay i'm a little nervous about it i've never interacted with a medium before i don't even

23:30dibble and dabble it i believe there are some you know some legit psychics and mediums but that's

23:38not something that i take lightly or play with it it's a little scary but i'm human and i can't help

23:46but to really want to know if this person has a gift they can tell me something that i'm curious about

23:53i guess we'll see girl i i don't do this like i believe in a higher power and this is just not it so

24:01like i have this huge phobia about psychics because as a baptist like we we grew up and

24:07psychics are not with god so i'm always taught against it and it may be a misconception like i think

24:13it's truly a misconception and i even say jesus was a medium right because jesus was on the mount of

24:21transfiguration communicating with moses who had already passed i think i'm good with just you know

24:28praying about things so i'll tell you guys how it works with me and we'll see what comes up i don't

24:34have any control over who comes through but chances are it's someone that wants to communicate with

24:38you or has a message for you that is usually who does come through did someone here lose a father

24:43a father figure you did and you did did somebody's father i feel like they were sick and then they

24:49passed suddenly or they passed suddenly that's you okay now he shows me like there's a sudden

24:55passing but makes me feel like some people did not get the chance to say goodbye does that make sense

24:59for you yeah are you one of the people that but he's also making me feel like he owes you an apology

25:04and maybe he owes some other people an apology does that make sense for you um would this be your

25:08mother that he owes an apology to gotcha because he's bringing in he's showing me another do you look

25:13like your mom i do gotcha because he's like copy paste right on the face here um and so he's showing me

25:19her but he's like they look just like oh this is interesting here did he pass at home he did i don't

25:26know maybe the sudden that you keep talking about is probably my son because he was suddenly murdered

25:33oh wow wow wow and can i just ask a question yeah production do y'all have did y'all have

25:41have her to write these notes or is this really coming from you oh no i i told him i've never seen

25:46your show yeah i've never seen the show i told them i didn't want to know who you all were i didn't

25:52want to know anything about you all because i i believe in my work for me to be talking to the other

25:59side that's a first for me that's a very fair question but this is this is the work that i do every

26:10single day what's your son's name if i may ask quincy justin

26:17was there not justice for him yet it hasn't been justice yeah he shows me that but he says that there

26:24will be you kept something of his this makes me feel like some type of clothing or some type of i have

26:31i have the clothes that he was murdered in wow i have it at home yeah i couldn't get rid of it no he

26:37and that's what he shows me that you still have it you don't have to get rid of it he does not want

26:42you to grieve yourself to death i can't help it but this is why he's saying it it's so hard yeah

26:51he's like you have to tell her this she has to know i'm with her because she's going to grieve

26:55herself to death that's what i've been doing mm-hmm he doesn't want that for you this is why i'm here

27:02to hopefully bring some level of healing and enclosure so whatever that looks like for you

27:10you got to do it you can't go where he is right now you still have work to do while you're here

27:17hearing the medium tell me that my son do not want me grieving and he will get justice it makes me feel

27:25really good it gives me hope because i have been like grieving myself to death now let's see if we can

27:32connect with your dad as well no ma'am not today no thank you

27:43coming up on bell collective just don't bring people around me because everybody you bring around

27:48they come for me what you were saying basically tisha not over it she's still mad she still got

27:53animosity my concern is where i am in this season of my life who for me and who not i trusted you

28:04now let's see if we can connect with your dad as well

28:07if you don't have to yeah she said we don't have to okay okay i promise you we don't okay i'm a little

28:14on edge when it comes to the medium um her talking to selena has me contemplating but i don't want to

28:21go against my morals and values was there anybody else that wanted like had a question or wanted to

28:27tap into anything i have an aunt who passed tragically from an accident you could say it was an accident

28:35okay let's try to tap into that energy here

28:38um i'm seeing like the question marks right around the passing i don't know there's just

28:45did just make me feel like there's a lot of blame going around what is that that i'm feeling i don't

28:50know maybe sometimes when people are going through something and you you see them and you want to help

28:55them but you don't know how yeah yeah and the blame might be like could we have stepped in

29:02mm-hmm was this like the overdose or suicide with your aunt it was suicide there's a lot of trauma

29:12that your aunt is showing me does that make sense you know how like in families we sweep a lot of stuff

29:17under the rug

29:23my cousin and i talk all the time and we lament the fact that our family sweeps things under the rug and we

29:30use that term all the time it hit way too close to home it did something to me i was not expecting

29:37that i'm not gonna lie i was wondering if you were legit i mean i i was sitting here like i think i want

29:41to do my dad you should said i'm ready now why did why did you say you're ready motivated me

29:49carrie got so emotional when it came to the media connecting with her family and i felt like she really

29:56got something out of it maybe it was closure it was something that she needed and maybe that's

30:02something that i need we'll try to tap in with your dad this is interesting was there a very

30:08complicated situation with your mom yeah but he also shows me he walks away it feels like he doesn't

30:15have a right to say this all right but he's like proud of you right but doesn't feel like he contributed

30:20to whatever your success is does that make sense he's making an apology and saying like i failed i

30:26failed you all at his funeral like i didn't even cry because you know i felt so much anger towards my

30:39father he wasn't ever there like i didn't know whether he was proud of me i didn't know whether he

30:45was happy for me so actually hearing her say that my father apologized like that means a lot

30:53hmm who's the woman on the other side for you my grandmother grandmother were you very close to her

30:59yes she just adores you she's whispering in my ear that you're her favorite but it's like she can't

31:04say it out loud does that make sense but she's like you knew that and other people know it too but

31:09it's like can't say it out loud yeah we literally always joke about that like me being a favorite yeah and

31:14she's acknowledging that you are indeed the favorite the favorite even though me and latrice

31:22are not in a great place at the moment i still love her i spoke to her when she was helping plan

31:28her grandmother's funeral so of course i have empathy for her how you feeling feel good okay wasn't so

31:34scary huh yes okay well that is what i have thank you all for having me so i'll make sure you all you

31:42all get my information for sure thank you thank you you're so welcome it's a pleasure to meet you

31:48guys i'm gonna walk you out yes y'all have an amazing night now that it's over i am really glad that i

31:56planned the minister medium to come in and speak with all of us i feel that the ladies who got something

32:02from it really did feel deeply about what she shared with us and even for the ones who decided

32:09not to partake i respect that too even for me i had no choice but to receive it because what she said to

32:15me was so real and it hit so close to home i really feel good about how it went latrice what you think

32:22because i know you said you know you don't really believe in that a lot of stuff that she did say was

32:26very factual i think it's stuff that we are kind of already know but hearing it from somebody else

32:32that don't know you you know it kind of hits different yeah i'm still trying to process everything

32:39but i'm glad you invited her carrie when she said that my son will get justice that was everything that

32:47part everything yes yes coming on this trip i'm just thinking we're just gonna have fun go to the

32:54brunch and just chill but talking to this medium and being able to talk to my son and my father

33:04it just makes me feel a lot better carrie really did her big one with this one i don't know about

33:09you me personally i just think i didn't connect with her that was and that just could have been our

33:14energy frequencies whatever i just it's the same you know what i'm saying it might be i've been wearing

33:21the hell out of my incelso they probably like skip her so what are we going to do are we going to

33:27i'm going to go to bed yes yeah let's pack i can start packing too

33:38speaking with the media she brought a lot of things to perspective especially holding things in and not

33:43expressing how you feel to people so with that i want to pull a teacher to the side and express to

33:50her exactly how i feel yes okay well y'all better get some of this bread pudding before y'all go

33:55right now she gonna force that bread put down y'all's throat golly you're gonna thank me later

34:02thank me later that was a lot baby i know after the minister medium leaves latrice asked me to join her

34:12outside oh my god this is so nice i knew it was gonna happen just in no end i wanted to talk to

34:19you one-on-one because you know we've been around the collective like the entire trip and we just never

34:23had a chance to just you know talk one-on-one basically yeah because i know your biggest thing

34:29is you know plenty of your face and i could have told you right but especially you because we talk

34:35every day about everything else we do tisha we do with moving forward like i can't go back and

34:43correct what's already to happen yeah and i just feel like you know we're going in circles and you
