24:41But now, I'm like, I need to change.

24:44Because the way I'm doing things, I'm not getting any better.

24:48Every emotion came over me.

24:55I was hurt.

24:57I just wanted to just end the whole world.

25:02We just learned to, like, live with it daily.

25:05And it's very, very painful.

25:07In the black community, we are taught to be strong.

25:12But now I see that talking about grief, it helps me.

25:17It's like a weight lifted off my shoulder.

25:19And I know it's going to help someone else.

25:22There's nothing worse than losing a child and not knowing who did it, what for, and why.

25:31Sometimes you get in the bed and you don't want to get up.

25:35And if you don't have anything to get up for, you would not.

25:40Sometimes you may have to go seek a therapist.

25:43Taking care of our mental health should be a priority.

25:46I don't like to talk about my story because it makes me choke up a lot.

25:50I've experienced a lot of losses, right?

25:53Coming from a broken family, like, my mom left my dad because, of course, he was addicted to drugs.

25:58My brothers were the ones who raised me.

26:03And my first brother, he was killed in Jackson.

26:08That was really hard for me.

26:10I lost my second brother, and this was the one that was closest to me.

26:13I woke up.

26:14I called him.

26:15I was like, hey, bruh, you know, I dreamed that you died.

26:18And he was like, no, sis, I'm good.

26:20I'm good.

26:21And that same exact day, it was like I never woke up from that nightmare.

27:48My husband recently lost his dad, and that was very, very hard for us.

27:54With that, with losing all my brothers, I felt like any guy that comes into my life will leave.

28:05So he's thinking, oh, you know, she's thinking I'm with a woman.
