Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Mohamad Alamin said that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s role as a facilitator in peace negotiations between Thailand and Cambodia under the KL Peace Accord was acknowledged by Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
Speaking in his winding-up speech for the Supply Bill 2026 for his ministry in Parliament on Thursday (Nov 6), he said Malaysia would not respond to unverified social media claims accusing Anwar of being a “hidden enemy” or a US spy, adding that the government is closely monitoring developments.
