00:00On count one for the murder of Christian Marriott, the sentence is life imprisonment.
00:05You will serve a minimum of 26 years.
00:09From this will be deducted the 277 days which you have already spent on remand in custody,
00:16so that the minimum term which you will serve is 25 years and 89 days.
00:22You will also be disqualified from driving for the period of five years.
00:26That period will not have a practical effect whilst you are in custody,
00:31and therefore that period is extended to reflect the minimum term of the sentence on count one.
00:36Accordingly, the total disqualification period will be 30 years and 89 days.
00:42When your disqualification has expired, you can apply for a driving licence,
00:46but the licence you get will be provisional until you have passed the extended test.
00:51Your total sentence is life imprisonment with a minimum term of 25 years and 89 days.
