00:00The TD and Riders Room is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Horse Breeders Association, the PHBA.

00:05Our focus is always on thoroughbred racing and breeding, but the PHBA also strives to help secure second careers for its equine athletes.

00:14As part of that effort, the PHBA provides $8,500 to the annual Retired Race Horse Project's Thoroughbred Makeover,

00:22$5,000 of which is awarded to the top finishing Pennsylvania breads from the preliminary round of competition.

00:29This year, 15 PA breads competed in the makeover.

00:33Miss Pretender and Rachel McMahon took home the special award after finishing fourth in the Show Hunter preliminaries

00:39and then going on to make Saturday's finale where they claim second place.

00:43Fellow Pennsylvania bred, Ms. K's Cowgirl, finished fourth in two other PA breads to mention.

00:50Flex Warrior, second in Field Hunters, and My Brown-Eyed Girl was fifth in barrel racing.
