00:35Oxford Street has once again partnered with Great Ormond Street Hospital charity raising money to help ill children enjoy a magical Christmas.
00:48The Oxford street light switch on is an iconic moment for London. For me as a customer I absolutely look forward to it all year round but for our businesses it's a key trading period of the whole year.
00:58This year we're delighted to be partnering with Great Ormond Street Hospital charity for a second year in a row.
01:03They bring delight to the children in the hospitals all year round but at Christmas that's even more important.
01:09So this year those donations will go to bringing joy on the wards and making those magical memories at Christmas time.
01:14At Great Ormond Street Hospital charity we rely on supporters and our partners to help give children the best chance and the best childhood possible.
01:25So we're absolutely delighted to be partnering with Oxford Street for the second time to raise money this festive season for the seriously ill children who'll be spending Christmas on the hospital wards.
01:38Well the fact that I'm in London now sending my second Christmas holiday in this amazing city and being asked to turn on the lights is an honor.
01:48Also to be able to be part of a charity you know the Great Ormond Street Hospital which is amazing and the fact that they get a chance to raise money to give children that are in the hospital
02:04A Christmas with carols and accommodating their families nearby when they're going through such hard struggles.
02:12It's a great combination of celebration but also doing the work.
02:17London does Christmas like none other so and I actually live on Oxford so I see it every day.
02:25I see the tourists coming.

02:51and get all the services that they need because it's a wonderful combination of bringing cheer but also serving families that need it.
