An airport under construction in China’s coastal city of Xiamen, just kilometers away from the airpoirt of Taiwan’s outlying Kinmen Islands, is set to open next year. But Taiwan’s civil aviation administration says it has not heard back from Chinese authorities on coordinating air traffic.
