Windy weather could cause travel issues at airports in Boston and New York City during the afternoon of Nov. 4. In the Northwest, rain showers could lead to some minor delays in Seattle and Portland.
Transcript
00:00A few other delays, some non-weather delays in Phoenix right now, and I'll tell you what,
00:05later today I think there will be some delays in the northwest. We'll talk about that. Let's take
00:08you into the northeast. Now, PHL, I don't think the wind is quite strong enough for delays today.
00:15We'll keep an eye on it for this afternoon. I can see a few minor delays. Now, LaGuardia,
00:19Newark, JFK, Boston, Logan International Airport, already some delays here with the wind this
00:24morning. I do think, though, the wind does come down a little bit in New York City this afternoon,
00:30so I've just kept some minor delays there. But as the traffic and volume increases at Boston,
00:37Logan International Airport, I wouldn't be surprised if we had some ground stops because
00:41the wind will be quite gusty all afternoon. Again, Philadelphia, I think we're okay today.
00:46Pittsburgh, no problems as well. Now, in the northwest, most of the day is fine. I would
00:51worry late today. Certainly tonight for some delays at Seattle and Portland. Should be okay
00:57in Casper, although I do have some delays for you this afternoon because of the gusty winds.
